Cliff Hangers was painful to watch, with that loss by just $1.  Any Number's loss was also quite heartbreaking, netting the piggy bank on the last possible pick.

Make Your Move really shouldn't have been lost.

You know we're in Budget Mode when you have the first Chevy Aveo offered on the show in a while.  Furthermore it undercut that Hyundai Accent from the most recent Let 'em Roll playing by several hundred dollars, and its price was below $13,000.  That must be the cheapest car offered on the show in quite a while.

It was sure exciting to see the car won in Pass the Buck, especially after both Lose Everythings were chosen.  It appears they now have a hatchback graphic to use for the game, as well.

The showcase reveal was exciting, though.  Just when you think there was another double overbid for this week, someone won the car showcase.

Down to the wire in Any Number today. Bad luck there (big piggy bank win though :) ) , but Justin won a car anyway in the showcase round. I was worried about a double overbid.

Pass The Buck! One of my faves. When was the last time a twelve thousand dollar car was offered on Price?

Drew came up with some pretty good jokes today.

And I liked Seth. He seemed genuine.

Cliffhangers:  OUCH.

Any #:  The bad news is the piggy bank was won.  The good news is that it was worth $9.32.

MYM:  Should've been won.

Pass the Buck:  Besides that Accent that was offered a few shows ago, that Aveo must be the cheapest car that Price has offered in forever.

Showcases:  I, like everybody else, was expecting a DOB.  Instead somebody won a car.

Nice to see Make Your Move again this month... wish it would have been won.

Drew hosted well today.   ;)

How did the cars get so cheap all of a sudden? Understand that my feed was replaced with the news on the oil spoil (when the President's on the podium, I want to hear what he has to say), but I have seen the Let Em Roll pricing game with a $13,000+ car before - just to let you know I'm paying attention. Anyway, does it have anything to do with taxes, not enough room in the price house department, vehicle's deduction in value? What is it?

The show's budget has gotten so bad that they can only afford to offer budget cars in pricing games.  So far, the cheapest ones have been offered in fee games.

Wow!!  Was that the cheapest car given away on Pass the Buck in the last 3 years since Drew's been hosting?   8-O

Pass teh Suck appears to be the place where El Cheapo cars go to die.

Suck for the most part has always had el Cheapo cars and BTW, I'd rather see el Cheapo cars that are winnable than more expensive ones that aren't.  Remember kids, it's not just a car, it's a car you won ON THE PRICE IS RIGHT.

Cliffy shouldn't have been lost, MYM most certainly shouldn't have been lost.

At least we know why Drew wanted the "used number" board for Any.  He apparently has come to the conclusion that being repetitive is the way to go (see CBSPromo's post in TiR, his SC prize recaps, etc.).  I don't know why but that's the thing that really got to me today.

Didn't watch it today, but at least we only had one quickie, with a pretty good lineup.

I'd also say that during the majority of the '90s, it was normal for cars of that grade to be on the show. Many of us lifers can remember when Ford Festivas and Aspires, and Geo Metros used to be a regular offering.

The whole cheap car thing doesn't bug me - I actually kind of like it. It's nice to see something on the show that's not ridiculously expensive, and if the cheap cars means that the game set-ups can be fairer, that's fine by me. I'm not saying I want to see the show offer exclusively less-than-$15,000 cars--but a couple of them per week are fine.

I find it ironic how the show tries to mix up the prizes and offer "cool" things like over-stuffed trips and impossible to price items to make the show less "predictable." Yet, the same things happen every single time a show airs.

I agree. Doesn't really bother me at all.
