CSS Results for June 4
« on: June 04, 2010, 07:37:54 PM »
There are no double values or double points days during the playoffs because it can unfairly weight somebody's good performance (or unfairly penalize a bad one), so today is just a regular old day. Well, about as regular as a totally random CSS can yet. Seriously, putting together a showcase is like planning a menu, and to continue that comparison, these feel like somebody threw darts and wound up picking Waldorf Salad, Pepperoni Pizza, and Chocolate Soufflé. Maybe two of the items go together, but the third? Seriously?

Three DSWs that count today, and none of them belong to BigJon either (he was short by $6). Punchboard91 and BRB_TheFireball on the car showcase, and brosa0 on the safari and other stuff. There were two more (sideshowPA and visualbasicwizard) but they were blown. Also three WSDs: from Goldenbulldog, pathfinder20, and Wayoshi.

I don't know how I would have done on these showcases. I just know that these playoffs are going to be very interesting.

According to the time stamps, he submitted his bids eleven seconds before you.

Fireball has gotten me like 3 times because of my trademark 06 bids, that's why i'm putting them to the side during the playoffs. And speaking of that, I was $06 off from a DSW, dang it.  Ah well, we'll see what Monday brings

I was unable to actually see the TV because I got sidetracked, so I had to bid based on the readout.

Unsurprisingly, I went over. :D

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Fireball's been bidding -07 since the dawn of time.  If anything, it's your fault for bidding -06.  :-P

EDIT:  Hey, sweet, my 8000th post.  Go me!  :)

About time I got a DSW this season.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

$22,200/$23,300... two excellent performances in a row! Wrong side of things notwithstanding, of course. :P

Kristin's bids: $17,200/$23,800... good thing she had a painful overbid, too. That first bid was lackluster.
