This is rarefied air here. The red podium, thus far, has swept the game. Only once before has one color swept the entire day in the sixty-minute era. Mimi is ecstatically decking out the First Four Midday Revue with the gawdiest pastel shades of blue, orange and green she can find. Ester, Michael and Ronald, the last of whom ignored a plea to bid $1,400 by the audience member right behind him in the last one-bid, are all in danger. At least two will go. Can one of them save themselves from the incredible luck of Red?

Watch Pathfinder not be won again until next June. :P
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Pathfinder was nothing short of amazing. That was a tricky setup, but Jennifer nearly swept it. Jennifer just plain had a good day- a car, $1500...too bad she overbid her Showcase.

Woohoo...a trip to Western New York! Of course, I could do all of that stuff for less than $250...I'd probably spend more in gas and Thruway tolls getting there!

Drew needs to stop saying that games are "very winnable" when they aren't. He also needs to stop revealing to the home audience that he's reading off of cue cards at the end of the Showcase Showdown. I like the thought of letting the contestants throw it to commercial, but when he says "read off the bottom line there" it doesn't make him look good.

Double Prices was easy. The -95 was very obviously a trap- too bad he fell for it.

Drew mentioning that we very nearly had a historic moment in the Row just felt right- I'm glad he noticed it. Too bad it didn't happen...

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Man, that pathfinder win was just AWESOME! Even the squeeze play win was awesome! I figured the price was $5,825 or $5,285 (can't remember which one is the right price) and those two were the only games I saw today.

Oh please, Barker used cue cards all the time, as well. Just because Drew is more causal doesn't mean it's unprofessional. (Although I know a certain someone will scream it makes him a terrible host.)

That was mostly a fun show. I loved to see the Pathfinder win. It's one of my favorite car games and that was fantastic play.

On the other, that was a brutal playing of Check-Out. I can't believe he thought all that stuff was so expensive (like the relish). The Francesco Rinaldi was something that would have worked well for a regular viewer. I guess some pasta sauce brand might go for $3.99, but this brand is on the other end of the spectrum.

I was pretty sure that the woman with Scion XB Showcase had lost as soon as she gave her bid. That's an uber-cheap car. I guess she didn't realize the significance of a Scion. Those were kind of short Showcase though. I guess that may be another budget thing (although they did have that boat in Double Prices).

Well, a win in Pathfinder is nice to see. BTW, which historic moment nearly happened in the Row?

We nearly had the same three of the first four contestants in contestant's row for the entire show; that is, all the one-bid winners coming from the same spot. It has happened only once before in the entire history of the daytime Price on CBS.

I had a good feeling about Pathfinder after Jennifer got the second number in the price correct on her first try (1, 2, 3, 4 indeed!) :). And Drew made the wise choice of throwing to the small prizes before saying the second number is 3, 4, 1, or 2.

Again I ask, Drew, why is it called Money Game?

I overbid on the Scion showcase also (I bid $24,000). :(   But I did miss the Check-Out total by only twenty cents. :)

I'm surprised pathfinder was won today since that is one of the toughest car games to win along with lucky seven, that's too much, gas money, and more or less. And money game was easy just too bad the contestant lost. Only 2 wins today and they were tough setups.  And a wipeout in step up how sad.

What a lineup today! Pretty loaded.

Nice to see Pathfinder and Step Up back-to-back, too bad Step Up was lost. Kinda a tricky setup though, but Pathfinder! Way to play that game!
