Will you guys quit saying "if we can say" this or "if we can say" that, just out with it already.  If it's supposed to be something so amazing, and it didn't air, at least tell us what's supposed to have happened.  All the wild speculation for this non-event is beginning to give me a migraine.

Read this. ;)

First of all, we now know that we were given the wrong airdate for the historic moment (and Roger, I seem to recall that the last time that happened was the debut of Coming or Going, was it not?).  As such, we should probably try to keep the discussion about it in The Talk Is Right, since we've already got a pretty long thread about it there and it doesn't really have anything to do with this episode.

Cliff Hangers was completely bungled.  At least that's a fun game to see people lose.

Pick-a-Number...wow.  They really shouldn't do that.

Kitch, do you think maybe a "Total" column should be added to your Showcase Showdown tables?

I'd have died laughing if, when Drew asked Mitchell to read the cue card for the ticket website address, he'd launched into the ticket plug.

Did it seem weird to anyone else to play Most Expen$ive for two prizes and one trip?

After some of Rosann's early guesses, the Cover Up win was nothing short of amazing.

I Believe they Said something about Rosanne Being a former Barkers Beauty before Cover Up.

Her shirt said "Barker's Retired Beauties."

Cliff Hangers:  Horribly played! :-(
5-digit Pick A Number:  That was evil having 1 as the middle number!
Cover Up:  I honestly didn't think Rosann was gonna win.
Showcases:  So close to a DSW, but still a great bid by Mitchell! :-)

Pretty good start to the week, IMHO.

Interesting how winning the cars offered in both Pick-A-Number and Cover Up came down to a 1 out of 3 chance. Good luck for Rosann; bad luck for Mitchell. Very nice showcase win though.

Today's episode was strange, and mostly not in a good way. Pick A Number for a car? Thought we were done with that (and having it be an evil repeating digit is not OK, Kathy). It just feels stupid and like there wasn't even a car game in the first half. Freeze Frame for 2 prizes? Thought they were done with that too. It's a shame how their way of making sure things are lost is resorting to bad production values. Oh, and really inexcusably short lineups with Bag in them? Yeah, thought that was done as well. Heck, today even started with Drew not being there for 5 seconds after the doors opened (for the first time since Season 37. And please tell me we're done with that....)

Today wasn't a total loss though, as that Cover Up win was nothing short of incredible (sometimes being clueless is a big help in that game! Today's playing is an example of why). I'm not sure what Drew's new thing is with having the contestant do everything themselves though. Having a contestant read the ticket plug at the same time every show is one thing, but doing it so many times this season is another. I wonder how Mitchell felt after having to reveal to his own game, throw to commercial after his own game, and then read the ticket plug. Probably weird. It's something that should be once a show tops if that.

Timings:
Freeze Frame (4) - 3:28
Cliff Hangers (4.5) - 4:07
Pick A Number (3.5) - 3:42
Most Expensive (3.5) - 3:02
It's In The Bag (6.5) - 5:15
Cover Up (5) - 5:36
Total time (27): 26:10

I figured people are smart enough to do their own addition, but that's just me. :P

Jack Benza may have been stuck in the row, but he adds another game to his resume. He authored "So You Wannabe on Reality TV" (sic) to give would-be contestants a leg-up on their audition competition. I recognized him as the winner of Whammy's second season tournament of champions, and from getting into it with Tila Tequila (then Nguyen) on "Surviving Nugent."

Forget everything else about the show.  I need to know something.  How long are they gonna keep using that same Craftsman riding mower?  They haven't made that particular model in years.  Have they just not ever successfully given that thing away or do they just have that many of that same one sitting around?  This could also apply to the Yard Man they sometimes offer.  I'm a mower geek, I'll admit. :-P

The actual retail price is...

Why did it seem we were in "hurry up mode" today for no apparent reason?  :-P
