Let's look at the games played for a car this week:

Cover Up (acceptable), Pick-A-Number (quickie FAIL), Range Game (quickie Forced Loss), and TTM (still a quickie)

Are they intentionally trying to bore the living daylights out of the viewers?  This is absolutely unacceptable.

As for today, poor lineup complimented by trips galore and bad showcase bidding.

Anxiously awaiting another MDS since 2009.

Switch was winnable IMO.

Secret X:  A well-played performance by Elizabeth.  However, she won't play something well later on...

Coggy:  Anybody have shots of the new reveal for Coggy?

Hi-Lo:  OUCH.

Showcases: ...Which brings me to this.  Why bid $47,000 on a showcase that has a Hyundai?

Due to a random TV outage, I only caught the tail-end of the show.  I'm sure someone will post a picture of the new CoG reveal, although I'm sure it's not all that spectacular.

Nice to see that Stan picked another full-fledged showoff jerk today.  (Is the full version of "d-bag" an acceptable term for this forum?)  I rarely root against contestants, but I can't help but root against morons whose sole purpose is to act like a jerk for attention.  At least he didn't bid $420 or $69...

She actually admitted to Drew that she panicked when she bid.  I am pretty sure she knew she blew it, but only after it was too late.

The worst reveal of all the games was finally rectified. Added bonus: the shot for the reveal looks really cool.

Can't remember his name (Robert?), but thank God that doofus did not make it out of Contestants Row. Just before the plug for the item up for bids, I saw a flash of his glasses, and I cringed. He was obviously spoken to in the next commercial break, thankfully, lest he become the patron saint of the Let's Make a Deal-like selection process for Price. And what was with that Herb Tarlek jacket? Certainly I would have placed him at 325th on the contestant's list just for that. We keep saying it: people are now going on the show to be on TV, and not to be on The Price Is Right.

Was that the first $1 showcase bid with the new displays? Oddly, it did not look like the 1 was stretched (horizontally scaled, for you graphic-design  types out there) like when a less-than-$1,000 difference is shown.

The new Coming or Going reveal was awesome.

Other than that, not much else to say. Sucky lineup, sucky showcases, bad bidding...what a downer.

One interesting moment : the actual reveal of Coming or Going (dumb easy setup).

Range Game should be played for El Cheapo prizes, when you CAN price that within $75. Playing this for a car without a bigger range and spread is one of the dumbest thing they can do.

I'd have won Switch, lost TTM (I stopped at #2).

It's the crappiest lineup of the history of TPIR : 3 quickies, the shortest SP game, the shortest GP game, and TTM. Really, really, I fear the show cancellation in the near future.
Le Juste Prix, my childhood gameshow, and love TPIR.

HYO: $75,515 (SC 1/2 (loss against a DSW), PG 2/2, getting up on stage 2/8 - 2 FFBC)
CSS: 2 wins, 1 DSW, 2 WSD, $202,298, best bid $118.

They've been playing Range Game for a car for years.  It seems appropriate that the game would have to be difficult for one to win the car, doesn't it?  I will say that the game was set up for a loss because nobody thinks to let the rangefinder go all the way up.  Also, the spread is $150, regardless of what prize is offered, not $75.

The recap will be unavailable until CBS posts the episode. My satellite receiver decided to upgrade during the morning, and crapped out, not recording the episode.
