CSS Leaderboard: 11/3/2006 (After 7 Weeks/34 Games)

Things are beginning to tighten up on the leaderboard.  With yours truly going over twice, his lead has shrunk from 11 points to eight, and the race for second place is extremely close.  But still, PF985 is down there on the leaderboard despite picking up 5 average points this week.  Maybe he's just setting up for a dramatic second-half comeback.

We had three 3-time winners this week:  myself, Robair, and Joe_Mello, and two first-timers, SteveGavazzi and RobertSearcy.  Great job!

LOWEST OF THE LOW -- WEEK 7

SINGLE SHOWCASE:

1.  RobertSearcy, with a mere $50 DSW on the Pontiac G6 showcase on Wednesday worth over $25K;
2.  Robair, $73 away from the FRTS on Thursday worth almost $28K;
3.  SteveGavazzi, with his winning $150 DSW difference on the Jeep Wrangler showcase worth $23.6K on Monday.

TOTAL DIFFERENCE:

1.  SteveGavazzi, picking up a great bid on the other showcase on Monday, a FRBS, for a total difference of $1,659 against almost $50K;
2.  Jordanar18, with a $2,460 total difference on the Boat/Bedroom combo on Tuesday worth almost $47K;
3.  Joe_Mello, with a $3,130 Friday difference against the Living Room/Chevy HHR showcases topping $40K.

BUDGET BUSTERS:

1.  SteveGavazzi - $76,068 (Monday)
2.  Robair - $48,915 (Thursday)
3.  RobertSearcy - $47,877 (Wednesday)

Had I did better today, I would've had three days with double points; one for Monday's DSW, one for Halloween, and today's typical "Double Points Friday" (which I OVER'ed on).

Nice to see myself climbing the scoreboard again, though!

To think today I went over on a chance for points on the Punchy doubler.  At least I'm getting closer to the line...and I'm beating Sally - but just barely

List of Goals for myself:
* Keep the garfs to a minimum
* Get at least one DSW

Yay, Steve won a game!  I do believe he was the only one above the line last year with 0 wins.  Good to see that on the rise.

This is normally not how I roll: 4th in monies and T-1st in wins.  Hopefully I can get the other numbers up before I go from 4-a-week to 2-a-week.

Well, I guess starting in last place means the rise to the top is all the more satisfying, right?  I mean, I've already gained close to fifteen points this week alone!  Hurray for double-the-points Halloween and double-the-points Friday! (first double-point days I've scored all year)

Well, I doubt they will mention richs birthday on november 30th, since his birthday tape date wont air until january 22nd, barring preemptions. The tape date that airs on richs birthday was taped october 4th.  But I could be wrong.
