CSS Results for 9/20/2010 - 39th Season Premiere
« on: September 20, 2010, 06:54:40 PM »
Well, the first official playing of Season 39....  And its a Garf-a-Palooza:

52 GARFS

Only 5players didn't get a GOTC, unfortunately, one of those 3 also double-overed. (Awww)

So we start our season with a Mustang of Doom and a Porsche Boxster.  These apparently tested our boldness and luck of Mustang Trim immediately...
Almost everyone was a little timid on their bids on that Porsche, but black is always better than red.

The guy who's reigns I took over as host, BuddyTom, takes the win today with the best bid on the Porsche.  One of our few lady players, KrazyKendall, beats out Umandsf for the best bid on the M.O.D.

Until tomorrow....

For a duality of reasons, everything is DOUBLED today..... (now for all those who scored, don't say you never had a point average over 100 this season)  :D
If I missed something, let me know... I'm new at this

After watching the show, I can safely say that playing blind burned me today.  I would have definitely added $5-10K to each showcase after seeing what the pool table and entertainment center looked like.

errm...I wasn't over?

What was in those showcases? Solid gold? Shares of Google stock?

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Spreadsheet's looking good Jon.

Due to employment purposes, (:)) my CSS season is going to be practically non-existent. So, good luck to everyone this season. :)

I had this strange feeling that I might get better at the game once I stopped hosting it... I suppose only time will tell, but this start is auspicious!

$34,200/$75,200... wow, I wish I would have got up at 11 for this. I smashed all of you! More importantly, I smashed Armadillo to draw first blood in our season series.

Wow, I'm surprised I did so well, since I usually stink at this. Hopefully I can keep this lucky streak going through the entire season.

Played blind, and GOTC x 2, obviously. If I saw the showcases, maybe I'd have bid more but who knows... At least I did better than stage player.

If show B did count, I'd have blown a DSW. I definitely prefer this one. ^^
Le Juste Prix, my childhood gameshow, and love TPIR.

HYO: $75,515 (SC 1/2 (loss against a DSW), PG 2/2, getting up on stage 2/8 - 2 FFBC)
CSS: 2 wins, 1 DSW, 2 WSD, $202,298, best bid $118.

Kristin's bids: $33,000/$107,000... she played this while sitting next to me, and emphatically insisted over and over that the ARP was incorrect.
