You really like hearing them say random crap that doesn't fit in any better than J.D.'s nuggets of wisdom?
I'll agree with you on the forced stuff ("Hey Lanisha, how are you doing?" "I'm doing good, Drew!")... but other than that, I am very much in favor of it. It has a Deal-like effect to it when we get to hear them as they're revealing a game-deciding price.

Deal or No Deal is one of the biggest pieces of s*** to go on America's airwaves in the last decade, and it's also total garbage when compared to the British or Australian versions of the same program.  It isn't something The Price Is Right should be trying to emulate.

Oh, and Lanisha's remark as she was revealing the answer in 1 Wrong Price today totally blew the reveal.  I'm not even remotely in favor of that.

"In Act 6 an error occured which may have disadvantaged the contestant. The contestant was awarded her prizes."
Wouldn't that also mean that Charles and Jennifer might have been disadvantaged at the big wheel?

Actually one could argue equally that Charity was disadvantaged by going first when she could've/should've gone last.

Actually after cliffhangers was over, I rewound my DVR and turned my captioning on and she said $40 dollars according to the captioning.

After watching it on CBS.com, she definitely said $30. No questions about it.

They probably based that off of Drew's confirmation.

Go check CBS.com, it's fairly clearly audible.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

[Deal or No Deal] isn't something The Price Is Right should be trying to emulate.

Oh, and Lanisha's remark as she was revealing the answer in 1 Wrong Price today totally blew the reveal.  I'm not even remotely in favor of that.

As Lanisha revealed the price with her remark ("That's why they call me Lucky Lanisha!"), I thought of Deal or No Deal right away.  She was a model on that show during its first few seasons.
