Laurie was a complete and utter dumbass.  There was not a single redeeming quality about her.  The only downside of her never getting out of Contestants' Row was that we had to watch her scream, "$420!" and jump around, giggling like a nitwit for five straight Items up for Bids.

One of the few things the current staff is doing right is playing a whole lot of Danger Price.

Wow, Pick-a-Number was actually set up for a win.

Ten Chances was played atrociously.  Some of Steven's guesses weren't high enough to make sense even if they had ended in zero.

FRANK!!! :)

Coming or Going was a complete crapshot!  How was Stephanie not "smart enough" for not winning that?!

You haven't been around for a while, Frank, so let me clue you in on our latest goofball:  In Elskunkoman's eyes, anyone who doesn't win their pricing game is an idiot.

And I wasn't going to saying anything about the restored car, because everyone already knows how I feel about those...but a Chevette?!  Are you freaking kidding?!

By the way, I must have missed it over this past month, but has Spelling Bee been played yet? I know Shell Game hasn't and we know that GR is on the way next Friday.

No, not all of us knew that, and at least one of us was trying to keep it that way.

Well, haha Laurie, like your the first person to do this.
Yup. I have three big problems with Laurie. Bidding $420 was funny the first time I heard it, but by now the joke has been beaten to death. Second, Laurie's comedic delivery is awful. It's funnier when a joke bid like that is deadpan rather than a "look at me" fit. Third, and most importantly, it would suck to be a genuine fan in the audience realizing that you didn't get picked while someone who couldn't care less about trying to win got picked instead.

Let 'em Roll showed an example of when there's not much incentive to bail out. After the second roll, the contestant was only giving up $1000. Chances are, even if she didn't win the car, she get at least $1000 again.

Maybe Drew should start making sly hints about the zero rule in 10 Chances. Something like, "Try to pick a two digit number that looks like it could be the price of a . . ."

Rachel looked like her life was flashing before her eyes when James hugged her and tried to lift her up next to the hot tub.

Jane is playing Let 'em Roll for a restored vintage 1957 Chevrolet Chevette. (V8, automatic transmission; appraised value: $27,990) (Amber)

Lmao! The only thing a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air and a Chevette have in common is the Blue Bowtie. I suppose its a simple enough brain fart though.. hehe

Bad day to miss the show, apparently.

At least the restored car wasn't a Vega?  Oh wait, that would actually make some sense.
They can be close at the top, too.

Laurie didn't deserve to get on stage if she was only going to bid 420.  Couldn't she tell prizes are more expensive than that?  The only hope she'd have had would've been if everyone else overbid.  Also since steven made 10 chances seem so hard and completely messed up on it I wonder if he was thinking "did I do that?"  LOL!

Well, not only did this show have the $420 lady and a guy named Steve Urkel, but the showcase runner up, 'Tracy', is apparently an adult web site model, her shoutout to 'SoCal Glamour Girls and Guys' gave it away:  (site NSFW)

Let Em Roll:  A nice car, and a nice win! :-)
Pick A Number:  Nice to see this game won for a change!
Ten Chances:  And it's another ID10T!  I agree that they should consider telling people the 0 rule, Hag.

Pretty good overall, IMHO, although Laurie was getting annoying with her bidding $420 on every IUFB.

Enough has been said of Laurie, so I won't add anymore. But I thought Pick-a-Number was bordering on Dobstopper, because a lot of contestants would low-ball it. Beachcombers are much more expensive than most other hot tubs that show up on the show; didn't you hear the audience gasp and groan when he picked the 8? I say, Great win!

First off as far as the focus of this board is concerned, nothing is confirmed for next Friday.

Second of all, Bee has been played. The three other games you mentioned are the only three with 0 playings so far of all games played last season.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

The car wasn't described as a Chevette at all, just "a 1957 Chevrolet."  Maybe it was a typo on Kitch's part.  Besides, the craptacular Chevette didn't come out until 1976.

Sorry for sounding so sure of myself or anyone else on GR 1st playing. I just can't believe they wouldn't take advantage of the easy opportunity. Although, maybe they know it is to easy and would opt not to do it. My guess is that we may be in store for a few surprises come the end of next week, anyway.

Thank you for clearing SB up for me. I had a patch earlier this month where I had no computer or television.
