CSS Results for 10/25/2010
« on: October 25, 2010, 05:15:46 PM »
Did you overshoot the pontoon boat? Awww, but thanks for playing you 21 contestants!  ;)

Bryan, just ouch man, but you went over on the other so it wouldn't have mattered.

dh027 has an impressive bid on the vehicle, just $10 shy of a DSW. And speaking of DSW's, both Chad1787 and CrossTraffic doubled the boat, but with the $29 edge, Chad1787 gets the cashes... Mind you there were 7 bids with differences of under $1k on that one.  Kev and whammypower788 won the doubler, but only the 1st actually gets to take advantage of the multiplier

I hope I didn't jinx Hag....

Footix, oh my dang!

Mmmm....Just barely avoided a garf on SC1 by $1  :oldlol:

If I don't get any points this week, I WILL lose my 16th position. This is not a good start.

I had my second DSW in a row, with just a $56 difference on SC2  :D

After my good performance at the end of last week, I, of course, failed.

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

26310/20310 - Meh.

Jon, I know you're going to yell at me for this, but you put the doubler ahead of other scores...so is Kev 3rd today or much lower?
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

No worries Jon...I probably jinxed myself by remarking "So far, so good." on Saturday. ;)
2nd place, 2011 CSS playoffs.     QSW, 3/27/17, 1/15/18. Exacta, 5/14/21.

Did you overshoot the pontoon boat?

Yes, I did.  By a lot.

It has been a long time since I last played CSS, but I get to play for three days of the week of November 8 before I leave for Cleveland.  I really need to end my for-shiggles S39 overbidding before I make my CSS season debut, though.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

I'm sure you can divide by 2 and figure out his post doubler position  :oldlol:, but for the sake of rankings, they'll go in descending point order...

Sigh... last place among the scorers.  I'll admit my garf on SC1 was downright pitiful (I had a memory lapse when it comes to pricing the Hyundai Tucson), but I can't figure out how SC2 broke $20K, unless that wall aquarium was $3-4K.  Ashley furniture is cheap, the LCD-TV can't be more than a couple thousand, and that Sun Tracker pontoon boat was $12,190 last time it was offered.

Oh well, at least I didn't go over!  :-)

Wow, when a $285 difference on a showcase puts you in a three-way tie for fourth (fifth, sixth)...

For a second I considered $21,212 but I told myself not to be cute since it's bitten me in the hindquarters a few times.  This time, it would have worked, but I'm not complaining about starting the week with 90+ points.

$27,400/$30,200... I am completely stunned that so many people didn't get bitten on SC2. I figured maybe two or three would get lucky on that one.
