CSS Results for 10/29/2010
« on: October 29, 2010, 12:35:50 PM »
Well, it looks like some people enjoyed there trip to OZ.  2 DSW's on a great day, each of those players won their DSW'd showcase, so both pathfinder20 and rcbought earn$161,050 in cash with their 1st and 2nd place finishes.  A lot of GOTC's which isn't surprising today with the 2x values... But the strangest thing today, Kev347 and Vadernader both bid the exact same on BOTH showcases, and finished in the exact same place... dead last.. Oh well, there's always next week

Oops...I flip-flopped my bids (47306/39306) ....like it matters, is a Willy/WSD any better than 2000/Willy? Probably not :p
"Our dilemma is that we hate change and love it at the same time; what we really want is for things to remain the same but get better." - Sydney J. Harris

“For the premiere of season 30, CBS wanted to do a special primetime show. However, they asked that we also add a gimmick or a twist to make it truly special. I came up with the suggestion of taking the show on the road for the first time in its history." - Roger Dobkowitz

$27,300/$31,100... I'm not liking my chances today against Armadillo at all. My bids were the fourth worst out of those who scored... you don't ever see that from me. I'm not really sure where I went wrong, as I thought most everyone would be fooled by these showcases like I was.

After seeing both of those SC prices, I didn't think there would be any way that anybody would get close on those prices, much less get a DSW.  Something in both showcases was on steroids.  Well done, pathy and rcbought.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

SC1 can be explained by the following:
-emeralds and diamonds
-Hyundai Genesis PREMIUM

As for 2, I guess Switzerland was quite a bit (12?).
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I had a number of distractions working against me today, which contributed to some of my garfiness.  All of the Halloween shenanigans, the CBS News break-in, and my abnormally slow Internet connection made it so I couldn't focus on pricing the showcases.

If I hadn't been so distracted, I would have been in the neighborhood of $33K/$35K -- still not great but at least on the top half of the scoreboard.

$33,645/$38,355 - I was only fooled on one of the two showcases, so I'll take a win over you today, thankyouverymuch!  :-D

Kristin's bids: $28,750/$38,100... she wasn't fooled on SC2, either. :-(
