So what is tomorrow's episode number if 5415K aired on January 5?

No one's been able to find any data on what's airing tomorrow, even with the photo site giving production numbers.  It may very well just be a rerun.

It really rubs me the wrong way that Fingers got all this special treatment for a whole show, even having a showcase dedicated to her, while Roger, who, frankly, was far, far more instrumental to the show's success than she was, got nothing.

If Roger wasn't fired from the show, then they might have given Roger a similar send-off.

Yay Jagruti! Campbell is only about 45 minutes from here.

Very nice tribute to Fingers... no matter what everyone thinks of the show nowadays, the fact is that she's still a longtime member of the TPIR family and has been there since almost the beginning. I hope she has a wonderful retirement. :-)

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Lucas
SHOW GRADE: 3

That's what I say. Not that this makes it fair, but it's all because both situations had very different endings.

Just to add to this, Holly, Janice and Kathleen did not get any proper goodbyes because they were all fired. Dian was able to say goodbye, but that was because she quit and all the crap didn't hit the fan about Dian and Bob until after.

Uh, they most certainly did air the clip from the '80s.  I'm not really sure how you could miss the Pricedown dollar signs on the Big Wheel.
Well, I'm still blind 8-)

I missed the shot on the television...actually didn't realize that was the clip even though she was wearing the orange shirt. I turned away after they opened the door and before she did the Gator. It was for a few seconds and by the time I turned back they had the clip of her modeling the dinning room. So I assumed they were running back the clips they showed on the monitor (Mistake 1). Interesting to note is that they still cut out Bob, one could say it was for time.

And what interesting names today...

I wish I knew also so I know whether to record the show or not while I am not at home.

Nice send off for Fingers :) It was touching too, that Drew nearly lost it introducing the second showcase. You could hear his voice cracking in those last few words. Very obvious a lot of admiration between Drew and Kathy.

Finger's was genuinely surprised. Her eyes just about popped outta her head.. hahaha  :oldlol:

The 7,390th episode (88th for Season 39)

Master Key
Dinette - $2,250
Small Appliances - $590
Scion tC - $19,995

Showcase #1
Jukebox - $4,996
Trip to New York - $5,885
Chevrolet Camaro - $23,855

My bid:  $32,692 (Difference of $2,044)

That's $44 better than the showcase where I bid $54K on last night.

Showcase #2
Federal Reserve Notes - $6,618
Plasma TV - $1,699
BMW 328i - $37,700 :pint:

My bid:  $46,518 (D'oh!)

Had I had a 0 in the middle of the bid, I would have yelled "D'OH!" out loud after a $1 overbid, but no.  I was over by $501.

Your Modeling Scorecard for January 27, 2011
Rachel Reynolds
Total:  7/$39,804 (3/$8,824, 4/$30,980)
Cars:  1/$19,269 (0/$0, 1/$19,269)
Trips:  0/$0 (0/$0, 0/$0)

Manuela Arbeláez
Total:  8/$54,480 (3/$39,539, 5/$14,941)
Cars:  1 :pint:/$37,700 (1/$37,700, 0/$0)
Trips:  1/$5,885 (0/$0, 1/$5,885)

Gwennie Osborne-Smith
Total:  11/$63,964 (6/$30,393, 5/$33,571)
Cars:  1/$23,855 (0/$0, 1/$23,855)
Trips:  1/$6,990 (1/$6,990, 0/$0)

If I had put #5415K back in order, I have noticed that Gwendolyn had modeled the most dollars for seven episodes in a row, including sweeping this week!

And for the season
Rachel Reynolds (89 shows)
Total:  853/$4,572,674 (519/$2,015,248, 334/$2,557,425)
Cars:  95/$2,213,880 (31/$742,935, 64/$1,470,945)
Trips:  78/$638,692 (39/$325,110, 39/$313,582)

Manuela Arbeláez (60 shows)
Total:  550/$3,268,339 (310/$1,237,359, 240/$2,030,980)
Cars:  63/$1,461,667 (20/$446,797, 43/$1,014,870)
Trips:  60/$479,627 (26/$204,288, 34/$275,339)

Gwennie Osborne-Smith (54 shows)
Total:  502/$2,875,351 (307/$1,285,828, 195/$1,589,523)
Cars:  50/$1,183,120 (15/$356,565, 35/$826,555)
Trips:  52/$430,597 (32/$270,763, 20/$159,834)

Fingers
If Kathy did 6,618 episodes, here's how I got October 22, 1975 as her first episode:  7,390 episodes (up to now) - 6,618 of Kathy's (excluding #58XXD and #1513X) + 1 = 773rd episode.

I'm thinking it's Frank Greco, Kathy's husband.

Drew was way off his game today. I think the Kathy theme of the show overwhelmed him... or maybe he was genuinely rattled by her leaving, but his explanations of the games was bad today. Master Key, in particular, was a mess. He didn't mention the dud key in the instructions, and I swear he picked the wrong key for the second prize. I think the contestant pointed at the next to last key, but Drew picked up the last key.

Not sure if the irony was intentional, but the last game that Drew *really* wanted won had the most difficult setup possible, with the X in the bottom row.

Was I the only who thought that Jagrudi was completely clueless? Good for her that Shawntal overbid her showcase because that BMW was not meant to be won.

P.S. Evidently, the PTB have decided to whitewash all memory of Bob. To edit him out of the classic Greco clips was a petty move.

The tribute video was about Kathy.. not Bob, not Roger, not Janice... Kathy. No need to insert anyone else in there.

Besides, they most like would have had to pay Bob a royalty for using video of him.

Yes, but they found room to include Drew in the clips, even though she and Drew only worked together for three and a half years.

Two words: "Personality rights"

That'd be Frank Greco, seeing as how Frank Wayne has been dead for 22 years.
