I will play.  Call me Muttley, because of the photo here.  I can spin the wheel about 4 times.

I would like to see this incarnation: Kourtney Wilson is the name. (I am a guy before you ask... :P)  As having no ideal how heavy the wheel is, I will say 2.25 times. (Don't want to get cocky...)

I'll play with my screenname. I'm not so arm-strong, so I don't know if I can make the wheel all the way around. :-D

(actually, I think I can make it all the way around twice)

Alright, the show's about to start, so signups are officially closed! We've got 18 people ready to play, which is pretty good I'd say. rn, please remember to answer the two signup questions.

Please keep in mind that I will be strictly enforcing a 24-hour deadline for all bids, decisions, etc. Once 24 hours pass, if you're in Contestant's Row, the next contestant may bid. In any part of the show, if you exceed the deadline, I will post to disqualify you. But if neither I nor the next player has posted, you may still post. First offense is a warning, and second offense is dismissal from the show. I'll also PM you whenever you're on the clock.

Everything Mike (the announcer) says will be typed out, but many of his lines will also be in audio form. To listen in, just click on the name Mike at the beginning of the line to go to my Box.net account and play the file.

Well that should just about take care of the business aspect. On that note, let's get this show started! Rolling in 5...4...3...2...

The Price is Right, episode #0011R, take one! [drum roll, crash]

[Come on Down 2007; the lights are on, and the audience is extremely pumped, yelling and applauding, creating a deafening level of noise]

Mike: Heeeeere it comes! From the Bob Barker Studio at CBS in Hollywood, it's The Price is Right!!

FRENCHFAN, COME ON DOWN!

JON BOUTAILLE [prizes22], COME ON DOWN!

LEAFSFAN17, COME ON DOWN!

AND AUSTIN HIGGINS [William], COME ON DOWN!

You are the first four contestants on THE PRICE IS RIGHT! [cheers grow louder]

And now, here's your host…

T! P! I! RRRRRRIGHTEOOOOOOOOUS!!! [Righteous enters from Door#2] [audience stands, yelling and applauding] [Righteous takes the mic hand-off from Manuela]

Righteous: Hey, welcome to The Price is Right! Thank you, thank you! Oh, I can feel the enthusiasm in here today! I think this crowd is about ready to win some prizes! So Mike, let's kick it off right away with the first prize up for bids on The Price is Right!

Mike: It's this digital camera!

[Audience applauds, and gradually sits down]

Nikon presents the D7000. This digital SLR camera captures stunning 16.2-megapixel pictures and full-HD 1080p movies, and features twin SD card slots, a 3-inch monitor, and built-in HDMI connection, from Nikon! [applause]

Righteous: Wow. Thanks Mike, thanks Rachel. And that prize goes to the one of you who bids nearest to the actual retail price without going over. Austin, you're up first!

[Bidding order: William, leafsfan17, prizes22, FrenchFan]

[Thanks to all the YouTubers for music and sound effects... I'll be sure to run credits at the end.]

Righteous: $49. [DING] Interesting bid.

Okay! Actual retail price...

TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLARS! [$1,200]

[DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING] [Walking 2007] [applause]
Jon [prizes22], come on up here!

[to the turntable]

How about that, Jon? You've got yourself a really nice camera now. Now, I like a big win to start the show as much as anyone, so we've got an awesome prize I'd like to give you. Mike?

[studio lights dim]
Mike: Take that camera with you on your exciting trip to JAPAN! [loud applause; guys near Door #4 see themselves and wave at the monitor]

You and a guest will fly round trip coach from Los Angeles to Tokyo, Japan for a six-night stay in a suite at the Four Seasons Hotel at Marunouchi,

in Tokyo's bustling business district and a short walk to several popular tourist sites. Plus, enjoy the Japanese stage art of kabuki with two superior-grade tickets to a play at the National Theatre of Japan,

and then have dinner at La Cuisine Japonaise, one of the finest restaurants in Shinjuku! [applause]

Righteous: How about that? A trip to Japan. Interestingly enough, Nikon is a Japanese company too. And uh, Mike, I hear you speak some Japanese. Is that true?

Mike: そうですよ、ライチャス。ジョンさん、がんばってくださいね![That's right, Righteous. Jon, good luck!]

Righteous: Uhhh… right. [laughs] Anyway, this game is called Squeeze Play. Of course, the price you see here is a little long. To get the right price, you need to remove one of the digits. But, I can tell you that the 8 at the beginning and the 7 at the end are correct. So do you want to get rid of the 0, the 4, or the 2? The rest of the numbers will squeeze together, and if you're right, you're on your way to Japan.
