Slightly off topic, but it's quite obvious now that Drew's regaining some of the weight he took off. Rather sad, actually.

Or worse, I was afraid it was a buildup for Pay the Rent,

That isn't where they stand for Pay the Rent.

$100 was a really, really lousy guess on the espresso machine in Rat Race.  That's just a waste of the $100 cushion they give you.  He should have absolutely won a second rat today.

He's gained some weight back, but that's to be expected, especially considering his dramatic weight loss over such a short period of time. If he can keep the vast majority off, then good for him.

I believe that's the first shutout in Rat Race... that's a shame. We've seen the best and the worst in this game.

I wouldn't say that Margaret's a bad Clock Game player... she just got really nervous and that killed her.

It's amazing though how people are going to 1s starting with a 50 range sometimes...
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

How is a wipeout any different than a shutout?

With regards to Rat Race, I would offer:

A WIPEOUT is when the player wins NONE of the small prizes, and therefore gets no rats in the race and loses immediately.

A SHUTOUT is when the player wins ONE or TWO small prizes, but the rat(s) selected do not finish in the Top 3.

On those lines, I would say that this playing was definitely a shutout.

Most Expensive:  Nice job! :-)
Pass The Buck:  Bummer! :-(
Rat Race:  Tough loss! :-(  Too bad they don't give you all three automatically when you guess one price on the nose like in Spelling Bee.
Clock Game:  Good job on the first prize, el stinko on the second prize.

Not too good overall, IMHO.

The show reruns today, and the second prize being less than the first prize in Clock Game is not normal either.

Well, remember. The full prize contains the HDTV. The Wii, controllers, and games were the 3-digit portion of the full prize.

It really doesn't matter.  It still looks strange, and it still looks cheap.
