You know you all sometimes complain that Drew misses the tickets website spiel? Well, I hope you're all proud of yourselves. He literally described how to do it, from turning your computer on all the way through, including the exact keystrokes of the website address. They had to go to commercial and break back in to get to the end of it.

Fourth IUFB: 3pc outdoor tiki bar set (ARP: $927) (Gwendolyn)

Deborah Bethany Colton MOLLY WINNER
$1000 $1050 $1051 $525 MOLLY

George has an ice bag on his shoulder?

Why couldn't we have done something with Mimi this year? Like put her in as the guest announcer? That makes me mad. I'm hoping for a suicide bid by Bethany. I'm feeling evil right now.

ARP: $28,147

*WIN* $35,299

The lights turned on at the end of the SC1 description. And Gwendolyn threw a marshmallow she was toasting in the fire pit, lighting the set behind Door 2 on fire.

The "10,000th thing" was the April Fools' Day Joke. Everyone in the audience had little 10,000 placards for the final act. After the final Drew spiel, the set lighting fell apart above the showcase podiums (with nobody under them).

Initial reaction...

-Lineup could and should have been better. I don't care if you can't do gags on EVERY item in ME or Eazy, or EVERY GP/SP, but you have to play a couple of these. Six one-prizers just doesn't sit well at all. We also blatantly repeated Balance/Sidey for this.
-That said, we set up for a good amount of wins today, and we got them. This show badly needed them.
-Most of the gags were pretty good. Everything in the PGs and SCs worked. SD1 plug was the biggest time cost but was pretty awesome. The OBs were mixed. I think things would have been better if it wasn't EVERY single thing having to get gagged up today, which lowers predictability and also would allow lineup improvement.
-After building up the 10,000th joke for the whole show, it can't end on "nothing happened"...it just can't. Find something funny and/or use a different number.
-There's really no excuse to edit out CNAOS on a 23 minute lineup.
-pir.com has a clip up now with Rachel back-stage preparing from L7, and it even includes the original incident in 2004, with Bob's reaction and everything...I was pleased with the "oh no not again" reference, and now I'm very pleased with the site!!

Yeah there was - the super extended ticket plug.
The second half of that was extra time, wasn't it? Maybe not...

Regardless... it's CNAOS, it really shouldn't be touched.

Personally I was hoping for Mimi being the guest announcer. And her finally calling Drew "pig" and "doughboy" (okay, maybe doughboy doesn't work anymore) on-camera.

I have to say I thought that either Richard was a plant, or they told the audience members to be totally over the top if they were called. I'm at a loss to remember any (real) contestant who acted that crazy.

And for some reason, when Guadalupe got called down, I was briefly reminded of Yolanda, although Guadalupe wasn't wearing anything that would lead to exposure.

I enjoyed it. It was uneven, but overall very funny.

I loved today's show....yes, the lineup was not the world's best, but the show was fun and games were won. I enjoyed the gags, even though a lot of them were expected.

Hell, I think even Drew was surprised by it. Totally wasn't expecting it.

Best April Fools Day show by far... the only gag that i thought kinda failed was george in the Balance Game sack.
Little things, like the boom mic being held up to Freeze Frame for no reason was great.
Drews ticket plug was amazing, and Richards ability to stay celebrating the entire time made it even better.
Yeah, the lineup was terrible... but the gimmick was really fun and more than made up for it.
You people make me sick.  Every last one of you.

I loved how Drew manually had to move the numbers in squeeze play, and the squeezing sound effect was perfectly in sync with drew moving the numbers. I thought it was hilarious! I also thought it was hilarious that the boom mike was almost on Drew's head!

Sure beats last year's April Fools' show (which I called "The Pat is Right" because all of the contestants were named Pat)!

Today's show was a modern-day version of the classic 1983 "Exciting Decorating Ideas" AFD showcase.
