Nice Check Out win today. Boy, it would be nice to see Punchy get fully won one of these days!

I actually believe that we'll see a Pay The Rent win long before we will ever see a $25,000 win in Punchy.

Can you give some type of comment on a recap that doesn't compare every single show to a potential skunking? Why are you watching the show when you're constantly afraid of 0/6 all the time?

Also EyeMobileScott, see the video board, there's a thread on the dancing there. I think they used the song because it just came out at the time.

I'm beginning to figure out WHY he's "elskunkoman"

he secretly WANTS 0/6

Well it depends how many games are won if it's  a 0 for 6 then i'll just write a comment saying the show was terrible.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

...which would be a stupid thing to do. Just because a show has no wins doesn't mean it's terrible. Doesn't mean it's stellar either, but a winless show is not an automatic dud.

Well to be fair, someone actually almost won Pay the Rent as opposed to Punch a Bunch where the best we've seen recently was still only the second highest value :\

Some may not consider the bump worth it, but I just wanted to share this story from work today because it relates to this episode.  I was fixing up a shelf when I see these two customers looking at lint rollers.  They were wondering what the price was when one of them said "I know how much those are they had it on today's Price is Right.  It's $4.99."  I then went over and corrected him stating that the lint roller on the show was Bounce and the ones they were looking at are a knock off brand.

Looks like they decided to re-air this episode instead of 4/29.
Quote
I find it ironic how the show tries to mix up the prizes and offer "cool" things like over-stuffed trips and impossible to price items to make the show less "predictable." Yet, the same things happen every single time a show airs.

An old statement that still holds true.

As I observe the old game props, they made a constant feel as if they were playing in a carnival; each game had intricate mechanisms to make them work properly and dazzle audiences.  That feeling can't be duplicated with monitors and animations.  I never thought of that analogy about old props on any game show before, but it makes sense the more I think about it.
