No, Kitch is right. The 32k price is the price with the cut already factored in, therefore it "includes" it. The 40k is the original MSRP, with no breaks, therefore not including the cut.

Also, other interesting things I noticed after watching the show again: During 3 Strikes, Drew muttered something about a "new bag," and the *BUZZ* in Range Game was followed by the losing horns.

I think it's the norm to use the losing horns in Range Game whenever it's played for a car.

Yeah, but he did a terrible job selling the car.  I doubt GM is going to be happy with him essentially telling America that there's no way that car should be $42,000.

The Plinko contestant probably should have ended up with more than two chips.  The small prizes weren't all that hard.

Except for the $63 light bulbs.  Seriously, if you're standing 20 feet away from them, how are you possibly going to distinguish them from the ones that Walmart sells for $1.92?

I highlighted one number in red, because Drew accidentally said lower at 750, but corrected himself quickly. Might've produced a tech win situation if he didn't win anyway.

It wasn't really Drew's fault...the contestant said $750 before Drew could say 'Lower' to his $900 guess.  Guessing $900 and $750 in rapid succession is not a good idea.

The Cabana is NOT $9999. $9999 is the GoGreenSolar SALE price, not the MSRP. The company who made the cabana themselves said it was $14,550 MSRP. It's like any other site, walmart, ect. They don't usually sell things at MSRP. Plus, the $14,550 price tag helps explain descrepencies in prior showcase prices.

It wasn't really Drew's fault...the contestant said $750 before Drew could say 'Lower' to his $900 guess.  Guessing $900 and $750 in rapid succession is not a good idea.

There's perhaps an even bigger problem with how the contestant played it. He guessed $800 (told "higher"), then $900, then $750. After being told that the price was higher than $800, it was totally irrational to guess $750. Our brains sometimes bring information besides themselves to make words we hear or read make sense. Drew's brain might have told him the contestant said $850 (which would have been a sensible guess), before realizing that the contestant actually bizarrely guessed $750. So it wasn't an "unforced error". Rather, the contestant's poor play increased the likelihood of a host error.

Having said that, I think Drew should have stopped the clock like Bob might have. I wonder if Drew is granted the power to do that.

Seeing as he has stopped the clock before, I would assume he has that power.

Drew also seemed like he was about to award Jared the first prize, because after 850, it sounded like he was saying 840 (going down by tens is perfectly normal) but he ended up saying "eight forty.......eight". All things considered, it was a pretty bad playing, and he was lucky to have two really easy prices.

The problem with Drew getting so excited about game play is that he immediately loses track of what he's doing, and an exciting win is almost always followed by, "Uhhhh..." and then verbal stumbles as he tries to remember what he's supposed to say next.  Drives me crazy.

Taking only this season into account, we are averaging 1.91 wins per episode.  There were 4 wins today, 4 on April Fools, 1 on Valentine's Day, 3 on Christmas, 2 on Thanksgiving, 2 on the Military special, 2 on Halloween, and 2 on the Season Premiere, for an average of 2.50 wins per episode.  I'll leave that up to you to decide if it's statistically significant.

Which leads me to this: there seems to be more losses on regular episodes (some nearing Skunked and El Skunko, plus or minus bailouts) than there is on special episodes.

Great Earth Day show today. Drew did a fantastic job hosting 3 Strikes. The new "NO" graphic is brilliant. Plinko, however, was kind of hard. Also, the showcases were good and well themed.   Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Can't wait for Monday!

The official "correct" way to handle a host error in Clock Game is to stop the clock and give the contestant two free guesses.  That tends to get glossed over, though.

The two best moments of the season have been the last two 3 Strikes wins. Today's was even better than the previous one... what a rally!

...and then an awesome Clock Game win after that?! Holy cow, what a start!
