Well, where to start.

I am now 6th on the leaderboard, and 1st in our group.

Pathfinder20, god almighty, went from 41st to 28th on the leaderboard, and from 12th to 6th on ours.

GR Whammy now has cash, which in total for all 14 of us is over $4.6 million. Of course Fieldsfan336 and I have none.

Yep, the leaderboard is now officially meaningless.

I knew my recent "OVER" streak would catch up to me.

Monday really didn't help.

Yep, the leaderboard is now officially meaningless.

I'll echo that sentiment.  The 10x Bonanza basically puts way too much weight on one playing for my liking.  More emphasis is placed on a player's pricing skill on that particular day rather than over the season as a whole.  It basically adds a whole new element of luck to the game.

Yep...thanks to insanepointday, my chances of finishing in the top 10 are now zero after just one playing...and especially after today's...

I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who thinks that these "bonanzas" are really bad ideas...

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

I missed today because of work.  You can add me to the list of those that do not like the bonanzas.

I too think the frequent bonanzas are way too much, especially when the bar is set way too high (having a raw score of 80 to qualify)

16th in average with 0 cash, yet 4th in total points and one good score away from 10,000 points this season?  Who knew?

Actually, that's the only thing he's gotten right.  80's such a doable score that if you're scoring under it on a regular basis, you don't deserve to be anywhere near the top of the leaderboard.

Man, I see a lot of bitter people in this thread.   ;-)

I agree with the first part of your statement, but disagree with the second.  80 points is not that high...just look at today's playing.  It was entirely to possible to have had a GOTC on showcase 2 and still qualify for the bonus.  How low do you think it should be?

Yep, 19th to 27th in one week....That's what happens when you overbid on a 10x day....That's like overbidding on 10 days...ah well
