Money Game and TTM in the same show.

Good god they desperately need more quick car games.

I'm getting sick of Bonus Game and Grand Game being set up incorrectly every single time.

Why is DiPirro so hesitant to use the correct Bonus reveal?

What the hell happened to Drew today? I know Money, A# are common / boring car games sometimes, and I don't think he really mixed them up for long, but you just can't state that on-air. Then he plainly forgot (maybe because it's been a month) to move Grandy to $1.

Squeeze Play is a lot harder when no one picks up on -95, -98 anymore.

LOL at Mike's DOB turned to a DSW. I knew that go-kart would be pretty cheap to cause the over as soon as I saw it, but there was a good shot on the boat, and it was converted.

EDIT: brosa, if they were more willing to play easier car games more often, I don't think we'd have as many problems.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Was Squeeze Play won today? Anyway Safe Crackers was won today but Money Game wasn't and bonus game was evil today along with TTM and Grand Game. Was Squeeze Play won today? I missed that due to the special report about Bin Laden.

i keep telling myself one of these days im gonna post my thoughts on an episode so i guess today is the day.

bonus game clearly looked to me like it was set up to be lost, even perhaps so that the contestant won none of the prizes at all, at least thats what wouldve happened to me.

one thing that caught me today was during SS1 after the bonus spin, kinda seemed like drew stole jodi's thunder after she won $11k. i wouldnt have gone to say 'congrats you win $10k but david is going to the showcase' i think giving jodi a bit more time to relish in that glory would have made the moment a little better.

6th dsw this season yahoo! on that note i dont know if im the only one who feels this way but i think drew needs to stop giving it away when its a dsw. he comments on how if the first person is over how bad it will be if the other goes over. he's done it on multiple times and i finds it kinda takes surprise out of a dsw. i also noticed he doesnt use that line when theres an actual DOB about to happen.

not the best show ever but i give it points for having a dsw

Those weren't the only Drew fails today. He totally stumbled through Bonus Game's rules (and even made a couple mistakes there), and during the Showcase, he said there was a "double dollar winner," when in fact he should have said "two dollar spinners/winners/etc."

And already we have another $11,000 winner that didn't make it to the showcase. Interesting.

A) What special report? Was this in the West?

B) No.

Drew had maybe his worst day of the season in terms of mistakes/goofs, etc but there were enough good moments in the show today to make up for it. was neat having a 10,000 dollar winner on the wheel who didn't' make it to the SC again and it was good to see Safe Crackers won (despite the fact someone clearly pushed the door open from the inside LOL)

And best of all, a DSW to cap the day...though Drew did kinda telegraph from a mile away that it was coming.

Well whatever it was it was local. Is it NYC? Obama was supposed to be at Ground Zero in NYC today.

Also the Squeezy player was the first to spin in the showdown if I recall right...that should have told you it was a loss.

Today was a show of ups and downs.  The downs:  1 for 6 finish, bad luck in Bonus Game and Grand Game, tricky items in Grand Game.  The ups:  $10,000 bonus won in SS1, another $1,000 also won in SS1, Grand Game target price raised to decent amount(despite the downs previously mentioned), double showcase winner.  Overall a fairly decent show due to the ups mentioned.

Grand Game target price raised to decent amount
The target doesn't matter that much when they're using evil coffee.

Wow. This was set up to be a very very low show. Mike clearly did not want any more pricing games won than Safe Crackers or Squeeze Play, and additionally wanted a double overbid, which is a bit too much losing all in one day. (TTM and Grand Game in particular were just impossible today). He got what he wanted in the pricing games, but it was good to see an exciting showcase showdown and especially the DSW ruin his plans a little bit. I was really surprised Stagey knew enough to bid 22500 on the boat - my feeling is that he actually did have an idea of the price of the SeaDoo.

I cannot stress how awesome Safe Crackers 1st and set up for a win is to really get a show rolling - sometimes quickies set up like this work better than harder car games. In fact, today's lineup really could not have been slotted any better - Grand Game last was nice too.

Today's Squeeze Play was a great example of how most people just don't recognize -98 anymore.

In addition to the setups being on the hard side, Drew was just inexcusably bad today. Others have pointed out his goofups already, but those might have been more tolerable if he'd acted like he'd CARED. or all the excitement he hosted Money Game with, he might as well have been washing the dishes or something. It was kind of funny though to see that this show actually ran SHORT and he completely stumbled while trying to kill time in the final segment. I think this is what led to that prolonged DSW reveal, which doesn't make it any better - that was his worst telegraphed reveal yet. Today would have been a good day for a full explanation of the rules before the SCs!

You know, there are times when having double all-overbids on an item up for bids is funny, but having two overbids on a laptop that turns out to be just $520 (when people are used to at minimum $1100 Dells on the show) just makes the show look cheap.

Timings:
Safe Crackers (4.5) - 3:50
Money Game (4.5) - 3:37
Bonus Game (5.5) - 5:30
Squeeze Play (3.5) - 3:05
That's Too Much (5) - 3:22
Grand Game (5)- 3:28
Total (28): 22:52 (this just naturally was short today - the show moved quickly!)

The highlight of today's show probably should have been the DSW, but it ended up being what came right before that instead.  There was a ton of time left, and I got a kick out of watching Drew try to fill it when he clearly had no idea how.

Gosh, what a terrible DSW reveal today....pretty solid lineup though. Now, onto the main question I had about the show. Did anyone else see the ARP card for SC2? If you look at it in HD you can clearly see "SC II TRIP/CAR" on it...however....I didn't see a trip in showcase 2? Does anyone else think that Mike saw a DSW bid on 1 and wanted to save any money he could by taking a trip out of showcase 2?

I think you're exactly right about this.

Also, did anyone else find it funny that Drew kept calling Mario "Mary-o" ?   :oldlol:
