CSS Results for 5/5/2011
« on: May 05, 2011, 09:32:27 PM »
Well done Stage player, well too bad you still got no points.

But so much red from you all today... Only 9 people scored. 18 Double Overbids.  Seems to be a pattern when one showcase is in the mid 22's.  Top 4 players had a DSW, the best today being CliffhangerKing with just a $12 difference.  Wayoshi also impresses on SC1 with a sub-100 DSW.

We will hope most of you will make up today's fail with tomorrow's double points.

Huh? It was just on the show 3/21/11 when it was played for in switch with a BBQ Island, and the contestant lost because they didn't switch and it was $3995 so that stunk. </trytobecharming>

As for my explanation of my bid on SC1...I thought it was the $5,733 spa not the $3995 hot tub :(

THe SC was $22604, and the Speedster is known to be $17999, ergo that leaves $4605 for the spa and hammock. $3995 is more feasible, ergo the hammock(first time on show) is $610.

I am very glad I didn't play. I would've been over on SC1. :p

$22,789/$27,211 -- :wsd: :dsw:

I thought I had SC1 nailed within a few bucks, and I ended up with a WSD.  I figured $3,995 for the spa, $17,999 for the boat, and I guessed $795 for the hammock.  Obviously that didn't quite work out right.

Meanwhile, I was virtually clueless on SC2, and that's where I got the DSW.  Go figure...  :-?

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

I also overpriced the spa.

Good thing I didn't go with the first thought that passed through my head on SC2...I very briefly considered my 'favorite' bid of $27,225...

$22,200/$29,100... how come there were so many overbids? These were the easiest showcases in a while. I went wrong by being stupid and slightly overpricing the Challenger even though I knew it was cheaper.
