Well unlike Buck yesterday that stood out as a bad setup, there really wasn't such a one today. If the nuts and everyone are really going to lose like that Flip Flop, that's their fault, L7 was OK compared to the last few times, Bag was surprisingly set up right, 241 was fine at a 50-50 shot even with weird-looking prices, Pushy was pretty easy for once and Rat was pretty fine. Someone clearly knows how to set up games in this budget...but someone else is overriding that person on some particular games still. I won't speculate as to who.

Anyways, it was the right move today in Bag to bail, with the chips and citrus punch definitely looking better switched up, the one hard part of the setup. But I swear that the nuts have become "soft", chickening out, as we do have three wrongful bailouts this year. Those last two GPs looked right to a lot of people watching today I bet, so why the heck was everyone in the audience waving the white flag? Something has definitely happened this season...

It took a day over 11 months, but Rat Race got its first win with two rats. It's the first time someone picked first and last. No one has yet won exactly 2/3 of the prizes, would have been nice to see Hawaii won.

Why was the Chrysler 200 LX used? It had a simple base price of $19995 that other cars have had. We don't need a super-big variety of cars all the time.

Come on, a splendido being $7000 more than the car showcase? That's just not how it's supposed to be done...remove the outdoor furniture...

Flip-Flop should have been won.   :-(

Great win in Lucky $even!

Tough decision for Vanessa on "It's in the Bag!" and she made the right one.  I thought she was a really good contestant.

Great wins on "2 for the Price of 1" and "Push Over"!

After asking twice in Contestants' Row why she had to bid first when she wasn't bidding first, I thought there was something wrong with Diana.  Then she asked if her bid was "too high," and I was sure of it.  Then she completely surprises me by winning two picks and a car in "Rat Race" and her Showcase.  I was actually expecting her to ask why she had to spin first in the SCSD... :oldlol:

Pretty good show, overall.

2-4-1 was set up properly. You could fairly easily derive the guessing item's price from the total ARP if you pay attention.

This day could've easily been a perfecto.

I eventually decided in chat that there must have been some type of noise factor with her. Didn't work out too great when I forked her before the game was revealed...

Speaking of reveals, come on Drew - it was old the first time you did it. And you're pissing off quite a few people still by saying it.

Hmm, I don't see how.  She has Drew looking at and talking to the contestant two feet away from her; I just thought she was crazy.

To which reveal are you referring?

I really wish Drew would stop touting Rat Race as the best game in the world. He should say its his favorite pricing game or one of his favorites. Diana thought she was going to play Plinko! I can't blame her for thinking that either. Even though we knew it was going to be a car game. Oh and Adam, stop slotting it last. It's getting boring!

I think if you ask anybody (and they dont even have to be a regular viewer) what the most popular/favorite game is on TPIR, I bet at least 90% would say Plinko!... its what people know. A casual viewer may not even know Rat Race exists!

Pretty good day today.  Diana got lucky in Rat Race winning only 1 prize and having it be the car.  Good thing she won the showcase too as we know how much the car cost.

Well, maybe she was too concentrated on getting bids from her friends or something. She certainly was not focusing properly, so I was still pretty surprised she got that vacuum after all the terrible guesses on that item lately.

And of course, I'm talking about Drew's egotistical Rat Race introduction. 3StrikesFan points it out well, some people probably were misled actually.

One last thing - always feels weird when an exact guess occurs but the pricing portion continues. The game doesn't need to copy Bee, but it just feels weird to have no extra reward.

egotistical

I enjoyed today's show. Everything was definitely readily able to be won and it's disappointing that Flip Flop was lost when that seemed like the easiest game of the day.

Yesterday's Temptation had $3300 only in gifts, but the Hawaii trip is over $10K this season, or at least it was when seen in five-digit Push Over and the Showcases earlier this season. Guess they round up the price of the Pine SOl to the higher dollar since it ends in .50.

What a great show today! Really not a whole lot to complain about at all. Well, that Flip Flop playing was a little silly, but once we got past 11:04, this was really as good a show as we can expect to have, especially with Bag in the lineup. Lineup and setups were both great today. And I agree - Diane winning Rat Race completely surprised me after all her trouble in the row, but it was nice to see it happen, especially since she priced those items well.

It's In The Bag was a bit tricky but fair today. We were discussing in the chat room how that much Sunny D is probably that cheap because it's only probably about 5% juice. :)

Scary to think we have a fifth-generation TPIR viewer already - that's really cool though!

Timings:
Flip Flop (3.5) - 2:28
Lucky $even (4.5) - 4:06
It's In The Bag (6.5) - 5:56
2 For The Price Of 1 (4.5) - 3:26
Push Over (4)- 3:43
Rat Race (6)- 6:31
Total (29): 25:10

Yes, it wasn't that funny the first time.  It certainly isn't funny at this point.
