That was certainly the right word.
It's the first game he's created and it's a darn good one. Let him be proud of it.

That is not a legitimate reason to introduce the game that way.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

It really agitates me when people mess up motorcycles. They're the easiest prize to price.

A one-loss show! Holy cow... that's awesome nowadays.

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Melissa

...What? That was certainly the right word.

No it wasn't. The right wording would have been 'divine' or just 'wonderful.'
I'll put this in here, but I didn't want it to overshadow the more interesting topic of specials. Earlier in the show Mike and Beth talked about Jenny McCarthy's appointment to The View and it leads to Mike talking about her appearance on Price. Mike says that he and the staff mulled over whether or not to have her on the show because of the controversy that follows her. They ultimately decided to have her because she's "a great advocate for what she believes in." Now, Mike didn't specify exactly what he meant by "what she believes in" and what "belief" of her's that he's addressing, but that could certainly be taken the wrong way.

It's been said on here before on rat race if someone gets the price on the nose they should get all 3 just like in spelling bee
That wasn't a showcase, that was an infomercial.

No, because you're dealing with three different types of items... a GP, a low-value SP, and a high-value SP.

I think his point is that Drew's joking when he says that about Rat Race, not that he seriously believes it.

I really enjoyed today's show.  The lineup was good, the contestants weren't too dumb (with the exception of Derrick), and the setups were pretty fair.

Man, Rat Race was really sexed up today!  If trytobecharming's right (and I really have no reason to doubt him here), the total for all three prizes was over 30k.  I wonder if they've ever considering making it like Temptation (played every so often for more expensive prizes than other car games).

Drew created the game...why wouldn't he seriously believe it?

Also, no way Hawaii 5n @ Westin was anything higher than $6000.

http://www.golden-road.net/index.php/topic,16139.30.html says otherwise.  I know whinbaby isn't always 100% accurate, but this seems pretty consistent to me.

He's a comedian. I think it's safe to say he was joking.

the usually(seems to be anyway) reliable Whinbaby was the source of the info. You wouldn't spoil anything in chat giving away the price of a Rat Race prize before the game is won/lost :)
