Pretty good show today, mainly due to the lineup.

The come from behind win in Pocket ¢hange was nice.

Shell Game played in back to back weeks was just f***ing insane. The Dob's done lots of strange things before, but I don't know if anything can top this.

In addition, a car game was played fourth for the second time this week!

I liked Lorelei. It's too bad she didn't make it out of contestant's row.

PG #1 - Easy setup today.  And when was the last time that both prizes on the top tier were amongst the three needed to win?

PG #2 -  :-o  :-o  :-o  Holy crap!  Somebody actually won a Mustang in a pricing game!

One-Bid #3 - Lorelei asked what is possibly the dumbest question ever on this show.

PG #3 - I also would've lost.  I would've removed the 4.

PG #4 - OMG!  Bucky 4th again!  And I can't believe that Claudia actually risked the $5,000 to play on for the cheapo car.

PG #5 - LOL!  Shell Game again!  Can't stop the Dob!  Screw my FPG picks--seeing Shell two weeks in a row was just fantastic.  :-P  :-P  :-P

PG #6 - Yay!  Dubba behind the price tag!  :-P

My showcase bids - FRSBS:  $33,000.  Random room/spa:  $20,200.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Wow-what a show today-and I say that for the lineup alone. WOW!!!!

Credit Card: I couldn't decide between the chair and computer. I mean with those random chairs one never knows what their price will be. Good job, Jackie.

Pocket Change: Great win here again. 2 for 2 today.

Squeeze Play: Evil. I thought the 9 should be removed-boy was I wrong:

Pass the Buck: Arrgh, this was excruciating. Make up your mind already.

Shell Game: YES!!!!!!!!! It isn't often we get to see Shell two weeks in a row. Nice. BTW: When was the last time that happened?

Double Prices: Well, if we have to get this as the last pricing game of the day at least we get it behind the giant price tag. Really though I was expecting Pick-a-Number when I saw Bob at the price tag. Again, evil random piano-I had no idea which was right, both prices looked logical to me. Course seeing the price of that piano in Freeze Frame the other day should have clued me in on how expensive pianos can be....

Anyways, great show today to end the week. Hopefully Monday will continue the momentum of today's show.

Oh, I dunno'... putting Golden Road in a slot other than first might just do the trick ;-)....

I'm really surprised I guess about the folks saying that Pass The Buck was "excruciating."  I actually enjoyed the playing.  It was fun to watch her decide what to do and not know what to do.  Sometimes, this bothers me, but today I enjoyed it.

Shell Game was a nice surprise also, though a bit rushed as was the whole show.

True, Casey.  Shell Game was rushed, but at least Bob slowed down for the ball reveal, and honestly, that's the most important part of the game to take slowly, anyway :-).

Pricing Game Length:
The time of the game begins at the moment a prize is revealed for the game, or the game itself is shown (Credit Card).

Credit Card -- 2:23
Pocket ¢hange -- 3:56
Squeeze Play -- 1:05
Pass the Buck -- 4:29
Shell Game -- 2:19
Double Prices -- :46

On a lot of shows, there is a lot of silence in the audience when the Wheel is spinning, but today, especially during SCSD#1, the audience was really roudy.  This lack of silence made the SCSD seem more exciting, IMO.

CC: Minor details, the usual win it seems...

PC: Not the nailbiter we had last playing, but came down the wire though. She played decent though

Squeeze..logical choice..but WRONG!

PTB: 4th? Ok, ok, we've had Dice 4th this week(unusual) and Bullseye hasn't been 4th in a quite awhile either. What was the Dob's idea of PTB 4th? Yeah, this woman sure ruined the chances of seeing PTB in that slot for awhile. She took, what, the better part of 10 minutes(1 minute) to make up her damn mind? Yeah, I really didn't have much sympathy for her loss since she fiddlefarted around. Wonder if there was an edit as long as she took? I got that Tidycat setup wrong also.

Shell and DP: Both very easy setups IMO, but was suprised(as much as everyone else here) to see Shell again this soon.

33rd Showcase: Creative! They just don't run out of ideas for the showcases, do they?

6 of 10 on the rating today.

Credit Card: Hmm, let's see... A ~$1,500 computer and a $2,000+ motorcycle, with a $2,000 credit limit? Talk about a no-brainer...

That being said (and I imagine this HAS happened before), that's the first time I've seen Credit Card played where one of the prizes alone was more than the credit limit.

Pocket Change: That was not an easy setup in the least, and I thought the third digit mess had killed Lori's chances.. But, it just goes to show that you can still win this game if you pick the right envelopes...

I think The Dob just got stopped on that one.

Squeeze Play: I would've pulled the 8 myself, thinking the trip was right around $6,500... Pulling the 4, though, was not a good choice. :-?

Pass The Buck: I've seen the Tiddy Cats enough lately to know that was where the buck needed to be passed... Then you get the decision to pick again.. With only two chances and $5,000, take the money and run.. D'OH!

Shell Game: That was not the $99 stand mixer, and not even The Dob is that evil. Should've gone higher there... And that's the infamous $18 teapot clock... D'OH!

Fortunately for Scott, he did put one of his two chips in the right place...

Double Prices: That being an upright, $7,500 just made more sense than $9,000....

Showcases: That being the infamous 25' foot Catalina, complete with a range and a pool table? I would've bid $33,000. $25,000 didn't even cover that boat... :-?

Lori needed to bid a bit higher on hers as well (I was thinking $19,000), but obviously even $16,500 was going to be closer to the price of her showcase than Claudia was to hers...

One example from last season: a contestant lost ON HIS FIRST PICK by choosing a super-el expensivo sofa worth about $2395.

Ouch.. Thank you for sharing that, as I didn't see that episode..

As I said, I was pretty sure the offroad motorcycle wasn't the first prize offered that exceeded the credit limit by itself, but was the first I'd seen..

Besides, why would anyone pick a sofa on a game like Credit Card unless you had like a $5,000 credit limit?  :-?
