CSS Results for 6/1/2011
« on: June 01, 2011, 05:36:28 PM »
So the 1st playing of June, 2 days from the start of the playoffs...

So you'd think a $188 DSW would win a showcase.... nope
So you'd think a $97 DSW would win a showcase.... nope
So you'd think a $92 DSW would win a showcase.... nope
So you'd think finally a $10 DSW would win a showcase.... nope
A $6 DSW difference win's showcase #2

But you think a $6 difference is the best difference of the day.. NOPE
$1 is, by SenorBeef! EXCEPTIONAL JOB by him and many others today!

A total of 7 DSW's today... Unfortunately 1 won't count :(

Well forget fireball special on 1, I figured the stuff offered at the beginning were going to be dirt cheap, but never mind on that.

Congrats to the great bidding all around.

After two straight overbids to start the week, today was pretty much an "avoid going over at all costs" day for me.

Ya know, I'd like to think I did pretty good for my first playing in a while. Too bad my schedule prevented me from playing at all in the past year or so...

Honestly, I wasn't expecting to be off by $6 on SC2. When I heard the start of the ARP, I thought I heels'd it...

$20,300/$25,400... my bid on SC1 was originally going to be in the neighborhood of Armadillo's, but I decided to take a shot and go higher since surprisingly-expensive trips rule TPIR nowadays. Good thing I did... it extends my lead to six.

And to think if we'd done a bonanza for this show, it would have been 14x!
