I remember watching the Plinko playing around '97 or '98 where the contestant had five chips but zeroed on all of them, so a wipeout can happen even if the player does everything right that's skill-related. I don't think we have to assume that this was set up that way for budget control reasons. It's not like they suddenly doubled the sizes of the zero chutes.

I didn't like Drew's reveal. While some might have interpreted it as leading up to her just missing a DSW, I figured it out from the way her said it, and it blew the suspense for me. Celestine was a great player, though, and I really enjoyed watching someone win that much.

By my count, this was the third episode this season with no trips in the Showcases. Nice to see after the show earlier this week with 5 trips in the Showcases (with a trip to Vegas in each one).

Yeah, I agree. If only he had explained that $250 away thing earlier. Like before the showcases, when the time is appropriate! Not right in the middle of the showcase reveal!

I immediately thought that she had missed by $249 or something like that. Is eight DSWs for a season a record?

Also, it still annoys me greatly that there have been no perfect shows this year.

What a good 3 for 6 show today. Otherwise we had another wipeout on plinko today.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

I really wish someone would intentionally miss the second digit on Cover Up.

I wish someone would intentionally miss the second digit, EXPLAIN TO THE AUDIENCE WHY, and have it get through editing so it permanently changes the way it's played for the rest of the game's existence.

Which is about as likely as mentioning the 10 Chances zero rule.

In order for that to work, you'd need a contestant who:

(1) actually knows what the second digit is,

(2) realizes the strategy, and

(3) thinks it through under the pressure of being onstage and having to make decisions very quickly.

Particularly considering most of the people who've been on the show lately, don't hold your breath.

Funny how we were majorly short on DSWs last season, but this season has been the complete opposite. What are we at now, eight? That's awesome.

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Celestine

Drew emphasizing "at least one number right" is as good as it's going to get, sorry.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Hi there! Okay, mt0708 would like to apologize for everything that he's done to cause you trouble and hopefully it won't happen in the future. If it's all right with you, would you like to unban him? If not, how long will the ban last?

Well, mt0708, I think it is a permaban for that account, and this account.

You know its ironic that this has happened three times in 48 hours on 3 forums I frequent, that's amazing. Three different people doing the same thing.

Anyway, DSW #8. The contestants we get may not be high-class standard, but it seems like the class we get is pulling out DSWs left and right.
