CSS Results for November 28
« on: November 28, 2006, 01:56:54 PM »
Somewhere, deep in CBS Television City in Hollywood, one Roger Dobkowitz is sitting in his office, laughing himself silly. Just as most of us have learned the Hi-Lo trailer, on comes a second day with a deceptively cheap SC2. Switzerland is usually fairly expensive! Maybe it was, but something sure the heck wasn't.

The average bid on SC2 was $15,730, which is still over by nearly a thousand dollars. And with a price in the $14K range, there's no room to seriously garf. Survival rate was up to 5 today, (none of whom scored yesterday), and the rest of the field was obliterated. It should do any of us TOO much harm against each other, since the bulk of us blew it again, though BRB will be increasing his lead with his win today.

Cash goes out to Joe_Mello on the FRTSC, and to sideshowPA on the cheap trip.

So much for doing a lot better today. Perhaps tomorrow!

cgts to the survivors.. and I swear  if something seems randomly-possibly cheap  and confusing the rest of the week.. I am  doing what that fellow did on that one MDS and bidding a dollar.

or being my eccentric number-weirdness self  I will prob bid like 556$ or 27$ .. or something...

I know I wasn't involved with either one of the "massacre" showcases the last two days (I was over on the car yesterday...), but I feel this graphic is appropriate to all you redballers on either one of the showcases from the last two days...

They can be close at the top, too.

I knew it was gonna be close, with me and the two Joes fighting for the #1 spot.  A difference of just $101 between me and Mello.  I believe this calls for at least one llama:

Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Man, if we mostly get Dobbed again tomorrow, something's gotta be up.  Two EECFS in a row?  Wow! (EECFS=Evil El Cheapo Furniture Showcase)

Yes, I hope we all do better tomorrow

I often play CSS as my afternoon class starts to file in before the bell.  One of my students saw the TV on and said "man, that furniture looks really cheap", so I have him to thank for my low bid today.
