It looks ok, but I don't understand what the thing on the floor in the back is supposed to be.  Other than that I think everything looks pretty good.

The actual retail price is...

I like what I see of the new set so far.  It has a bit of a classic look while being modern.  And the video wall is a lot less obnoxious than it could've been.

I'm not crazy about the light strips, but everything else looks good.

The light strip just makes me think of LMAD, which isn't a bad thing IMO. I think the screen looks great, and will probably look much more impressive when showing trips than the current one. The curtains look very nice.

I can't wait to see the rest of the set, whether or not it changes much.

I like the new screen on the back wall but I dislike the light strips around the room.  I think they are beyond unnecessary to the point of being a distraction.  It will have the effect of making the studio seem even smaller than it is on TV.

I don't think it's the angle of the shot - the GT marks are not on that floor.  Maybe they will be when taping starts.

The floor in front of the TV screen looks like it may light up like the floor of Saturday Night Fever.  God, I hope not.

The 4 covers for the contestant's seats are not in place.  I hope they return to the words The Price Is Right and not that ugly dollar sign.

I love the colors of the curtains - the pastel curtains never seemed right.

Cost will prevent them from getting rid of the SQUARES on the turntable, but I sure hope the squares are gone from the doors.

I am kind of wondering the point of the wide screen/video wall.  Is it simply to make trip prizes shown on it look bigger or will they be playing PG's on it?

Looks terrific though.

I would bet money they wouldn't. What kind of pattern are they gonna come up with next?

And silly dollar sign? Dude. You just called a trademark of the show UGLY! Blasphemy!  :-o

O.K., I'm done. :P

And besides, I sort of like the square design, so...

EDIT:

Feeling these changes were unnecessary, but they pulled it off a lot better than I thought they would. I just saw absolutely no point in that long light. Feels really out of place, and they should ditch it soon.

I must be looking at a different picture than everyone else...this looks to me like the dumbest thing I've ever seen.  They might as well have installed monkey bars in the audience.

Maybe it'll look better on the air.  The new Turntable did, and the Showcase podiums...well, the new Turntable did.

I'm surprised you didn't say anything about how trips are going to be bigger again!

Oh god no.

I much prefer the squares. The hypocycloids do work well on the GPT, though.

Moved to the side, most likely. I think they're attached to those strips.

And I think they're brand new.

When looking at the picture again, it looks like the price is right logo to the side will hang above the back part of the audience and not be all the way in the corner. There's a bit of room in between the logo and the guy that's on the ladder.

The squares may be ugly, but the stars from season 36 were hideous IMO! But like Guint said, they did work well on the Giant Price Tag.

It doesn't look bad; the video screen is good while I could do without the bars.  The change in curtains is nice though.

Anybody have an idea on what type of video screen that is?  It looks too clear to be projection and it appears wider than the standard 16:9 ratio.  I'm looking forward to seeing the changes on TV because they look great in the photo and they have always seemed to look even better once they are actually shown on the air.
