The good news?
Three pricing games were won.

The bad news?
Both car games were lost and none of the prizes in Superball were won.

But this was a good show filled with great prizes, good games and some interesting contestants. Plus, the 2 cars being won in the showcase made up for the car games being lost. A couple of funny moments and the $42,000+ win made this show a great one.

Either the last or next to last TPIR primetime special was preempted on WCAU Phila(now NBC, then CBS) by an Eagles football special. Only time I can recall WCAU not airing a CBS game show from the late 70s-on.

From the recap I just read, I do remember seeing it in late August or sometime in September 1986.  I believe Holly modeled the 4th item up for bids, and Grand Game - a game not involving models - was the pricing game played that same segment, and then the next item up for bids - the Popcorn Cart - was also modeled by Holly as well.  This is definitely something you wouldn't see every day - the same model demonstrating 2 items up for bids in a row, with Grand Game sandwiched in between.
