Bullseye question
« on: July 14, 2011, 01:29:26 PM »
Anybody know, has there ever been a wipeout in Bullseye before? In other words, has the contestant missed the target with all 3 items before?

Yes, I've seen it happen several times over the years. This is probably one of those things that has happened more often than people realize.

One famous instance: January 22, 2002, the same day Shell Game had a similar wipeout (No chips won.) Also the last playing of Shell Game with the old set.

The Shell Game set changed almost one year before that.

I believe Alfonzo has the year wrong -- it was January 22, 2001.

But Shell Game was last played on the old table on December 10, 1999, and the new table didn't debut until March 6, 2001.

EDIT: Apparently, Shell Game and Bullseye were played on 1/22/01, and both were wiped out. Huh.

2nd EDIT: Oh duh. Never mind what I said, I'm reading things the wrong way. :P

That's what I get for posting from my cell phone without checking the FAQ!
