1988: Painful Loss in The Phone Home Game
« on: July 28, 2011, 03:26:02 PM »
There has been at least one wipeout in the history of The Phone Home Game; the home viewer gave three product names instead of three prices, and wasted the game.  Here, a contestant only manages to win one cash award, but what's painful is what he could have won if he was correct on his first turn.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd be really curious to see that wipeout you mention. Do you know the year it happened?

I read in another post somewhere that the last playing ended in a wipeout, which means that it was in 1989.
