I'm so sorry to hear of Hit Me's demise.  It is definitely one of my favorite games.  I love the game board.

It never ceased to amaze me that so many people failed to equate "multiplied by ten" with "ending in zero".  I think it speaks volumes about the poor math skills in the general population.  Sure, there were some instances where more than one item had a price ending in zero, but the one multiplied by ten really seemed to stick out because of its high price (i.e. $89.90).  

Watching Hit Me taught me how to play blackjack.  And blackjack is the only game I play when I'm in Vegas!

On a somewhat related note...I learned how to write checks by watching Check Game!
