Is it just me or that girl who played flip flop should have dressed a little better?

As much as i hate these theme shows, i'd be totally up for an all hot chicks not wearing much clothing special  8-)

I guess i wouldn't mind if they worked on a new price reveal in Thats Too Much.

Race Game win was awesome.. the directing in Race Game... not so awesome.
You people make me sick.  Every last one of you.

Also, maybe the outcome of That's Too Much! should serve as a hint that Drew doesn't explain it all that well.  The phrase "just over the actual retail price" is kind of vague, not to mention terribly subjective and not necessarily an accurate description of the right answer on any given day.

I was thinking this exact thing earlier today. This is one of those games where the explanation Bob always used is just flat out better than Drew's. Drew needs to include the words "first price higher than the actual retail price of the car." "Just over" the price could describe several of the prices on the game board.

They're not that close together...

And no one's said it yet - what exactly was wrong with the Racey directing?
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Loved Cliff's prize package, except for the hairstyling.  I'd assume if it was a guy that would entail just haircuts?  More of this on these college specials.

...less of the shoes, but then that will probably happen because of a certain person no longer working at the program.  :D

And no one's said it yet - what exactly was wrong with the Racey directing?
The whole thing was hideous...stuff seemed to be staged a bit differently, the person shooting the longshot of the prizes (from 4 to 1) blocked it for HD, then didn't fix it, the horrible camera selections, wowzers.
They can be close at the top, too.

They're not that close together...

Not every single time, but on numerous playings, yes, they most certainly are...The whole point was that it's too subjective to describe the game the way Drew does. "Just over" could mean different things to different people. Plus, why not be exact and leave no room for misinterpretation when describing the rules?

Drew: One at a time, I will show you a price. If you think the price of the car is the first one over the actual retail price of the car, yell "THAT'S TOO MUCH!". Here we go...

(Drew hits the buzzer, reveals the price, the suspensful music plays)

Again, I never make a point to ridicule a prize (remembering that any given prize is someone's favorite), but the 365 pairs of shoes prize has got to go. Maybe 25 pairs of shoes, but NOT THAT FRIGGIN MANY!!!

On the other hand, the rail tour of Europe I'm sure would be a memorable trip for a college student and his/her companion.

There was one thing Dimich did right, though...after the game was won, he cut to a reaction shot of the contestant, and not the audience. That quick sweeping jib shot of the crowd that DiPirro loved drove me crazy. Granted, it wasn't the best reaction shot...but the effort should be noted and commended.  The directing of the rest of that segment was awful, though (especially the lack of 200A!)

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

One day you're on The Price is Right winning 365 pairs of shoes, the next you'll be on Hoarders because your home is filled with shoes.

I felt bad for the girl who played That's Too Much. That's got to be humiliating. And while I think Drew could explain the game better, I don't take issue with how he does it now. It's clearly implied that there's only one correct answer; if you could just pick any price that's higher than the price of the car, why wouldn't you just go to the last one every time? That's nonsense. If she thought that was the case, it's her fault.

It certainly wasn't clear to today's contestant!

No, it isn't.  It is not the contestant's fault that Drew can't explain the game in such a way that you're going to understand it immediately in front of 300 people.  Actually, I'm surprised it took four years for this to happen to someone.

She probably never seen the show, like most of the contestants these days

What a show, what a show....

Is it bad that I hold extreme extreme dislike towards Mike simply for the lack of cues (200A, 204, Big Banana)?

How embarrassing in That's Too Much. While Drew's explanation can certainly share some of the blame (We all remember the Race Game fiasco a couple of months ago), I think the contestant should think a little.

Mayim Bialik Nedda apparently thought that any price over the ARP of the truck would win.
Me and my mother noted that Nedda looked like Blossom, too! But she's Amy Farrah Fowler now.

What a Race Game! That is all.

Can we at least see Bullseye for a car? Range Game has been made old. Just stop it.

I loved how a lot of people saw that the shoes weren't from Nine West and thought they were cheaper than last time. lol

I hope the make goods are better than this one. My hope isn't high.

Well, would you explain it to the contestant this way:

"I'm going to show you a series of 10 prices for this car, but none of them are correct. As I show you each price, you tell me whether you want to see the next price, or if you think it is the first one over the actual retail price of the car. You let me know that by shouting out, 'That's Too Much!' If you tell me to stop at the right time, you win the car!"

Again, I think Drew knows the game ... it's just that if what you say is correct, he's just inconsistent at explaining it correctly. If anything, he should ask the contestant if he/she understands the explanation of the game just told to him. (Even with a bad explanation, she should have figured out that there is but one right answer. Otherwise, she doesn't deserve to win.)

How embarrassing in That's Too Much. While Drew's explanation can certainly share some of the blame (We all remember the Race Game fiasco a couple of months ago), I think the contestant should think a little.

Sigh -- another mention of the Race Game incident from yon 2 1/2 months ago. I just simply think that watching the show beforehand would help to figure out a simple game like That's Too Much! (only one right answer, and that's the one that's just over the ARP meaning the very first one) or Race Game (you don't just "throw" the price tags down).
