Although this show ended up having no rare games between the rest of the 5630s, it was still a joy to see a Baggy win live.

I have no comment on the nuts wanting to quit on the pasta sauce - that was not me!
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Man, oh man... of all the games to blow a perfect show. Switch is the goat of the day, unfortunately. I mean, we even had a rare win in It's In the Bag, and we still couldn't get it done!

Of course, Any Number rendered all of this moot... but still.

It seems Wayoshi arriving at Studio 33 brought some luck to the place - this was overall a fun one to watch. We've had many "trap" setups this week, but only one particularly forced loss reared its head today, that being Switch? (no way anyone was going to win that with the cheaper-than-usual hot tub in there).  And we had lots of great moments - most especially an It's In The Bag win! That game was definitely set up a bit easier for premiere week, but it wasn't all THAT easy. Mike I think wanted the contestant to get 4k for sure and then think yogurt was 3.89 and cleaner 5.99, and she managed to avoid both those traps. Then, Mike tried to set the showcases up to blatantly favor the tripcase, but he made the tripcase look TOO nice so Emily won a Jeep and a trip on top of her other winnings. That was great to see, though I did find it amusing that in her winners' circle video on priceisright.com she made no mention of the $16,000 and said it was "all luck". Well, she lucked her way into a win in one of the most skill-based games on the show - either way, that was cool to see.

The kinda blah lineup doesn't give me much else to work with, but in general this was a better feeling show, simply because nothing felt too badly out of place. It was interesting to see the new Fiat on the show as well!

Timings:
Cliff Hangers (4.5) - 3:45
Money Game (4.5) - 3:17
Switch? (3.5) - 3:03
Push Over (4)- 3:08
It's In The Bag (6.5)- 6:13
Any Number (5) - 4:21
Total (28): 23:43

My, what a fun show to watch. We finally get that elusive It's in the Bag win (and, based on what what happened last time it had a winless season, we may get another), and we actually see a rare classic clip (it's the only one they showed that I hadn't seen prior. Interesting that Janice walked back; I thought that incident happened with James? And also weird to see no numbered path for Hans.)

Switch? was tough, though Drew really shouldn't have quipped about the grill being new to the show; that really didn't help matters much.

It's In The Bag:  Finally, another $16,000 win!

With Fiat's now 53% ownership of Chrysler, I guess it was only a matter of time before a Fiat would be offered on this show for the first time in about 28 years.  I have to say that the Fiat 500 is butt-ugly.  Not quite Aveo butt-ugly, but smart car butt-ugly.

Am I dreaming, or did somebody actually win It's in the Bag?

My showcase bids:
Jeep--$32,507
Trips--$22,507
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".
