Terribly set-up show. I swear Mike wants to start off on "his right" foot with Stack the Deck and other evil cheap/expensive traps. (Danger shouldn't have been wiped out, though.)
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Maybe he was saving up to not feel so bad if he gave up four cars in one game on the actual premiere.

Switcheroo and Stack the Deck on the same show? They really didn't want any cars won today, I guess.

That show was terrible because no one didn't win no pricing games. Mike richards was full of evil setups everywhere specifically Stack the deck, Danger Price, Switcheroo, and one wrong price.

I disagree.  00 at the last two positions of MYM, that eliminated 2 choices.    They had a 1 in Switcheroo, how many of those SP's looked like they could be 20 or less.    Seemed to me that the 1 was the obvious choice for the car.

Now the price in Stack the Deck, per norm, was near impossible if you didn't get all 3 and ask for positions 3,4, & 5.   Had that happened, the 2 was out of play, making the first number obvious.   I really dislike this game more and more every time they play it.

I mean in stack the deck winning the 3 free numbers would be impossible because the GP's were evil.

Blah. What a hugely disappointing show. And to think this was the first taping they did for the season. That's an ouch, especially considering how hard the car games were set up today (STD in particular was just way too hard - I call foul on that 1st GP considering there is a $2.99 Rinaldi pasta sauce that exists and it's hard to tell the difference). Throw that in with some rough gameplay on the non-car games (Squeeze and Danger) and you have the recipe for a bad show. And it looks like these Drewcase-esque starts to showcases are going to be a recurring theme too. Not feeling it at all - this whole show was just a mess. Let's hope for better tomorrow.

P.S. On the plus side, Adam gets an A+ for the season so far with his lineups. Keep it up! (though it's weird to have less cash games...)

Timings:
Switcheroo (5.5) - 5:04
One Wrong Price (3.5) - 3:11
Make Your Move (4.5) - 4:36
Squeeze Play (3.5)- 3:00
Stack The Deck (5.5) - 5:51
Danger Price (4.5) - 3:38
Total (27): 25:20

During the play of Switcheroo, I was wondering if the price of the car was going to be $23,743 (Terry's infamous exacta amount).  I was fairly certain the staff didn't want to conjure up memories of that event.

Blah. Everything wrong with this show snuck in today. Music cues sucked big time yet again, Stack the Deck was impossible as usual, more assortments of tough setups, "exotic" trips, designer stuff, and 2-prize showcases.

At least the lineup was good?

This was the first taping to use the new season's prize budget, and the show was already being set up as though they were several days overbudget.  That is not promising.

There is something terribly wrong with the fabric of the universe when 5-digit Squeeze Play is worth $156 less than Danger Price.

Croatia.  Jesus Christ.

Make Your Move was totally set up for a win.

I hate all the losses as much as anyone, but they knew this wasn't going to be part of the actual premiere week, so I don't see how the taping date is relevant.

Croatia.  Jesus Christ.

I wonder if they get a side trip to beautiful downtown Zagreb.
