Eazy az 1 2 3 was pretty much unwinnable.

I thought it was pretty easy.   Those bags looked as cheap as they were.

Its what happens when Mike maxes the budget (i.e. 4 cars in Race Game)

You realize that the 2-prize showcase broke 40K, right?

Ditto. The TV was obviously the most expensive thing & the bags looked kind of cheap. I would've won.

This episode was taped on June 22. The season premiere was taped on August 22 -- two months later.

Richards is wreaking havoc with the budget in an effort to not go over.

While the bags looked cheap, they did have the name Coach attached to them. While Coach isn't the most expensive brand on the show, I can see why a choice like hers was made.

-One Away was disappointing....
-I don't think Coming or Going could've been set up any easier than it was today. I mean with that setup they should've skipped the game and just gave her the motorcycle.
-Is Pick-A-Pair like the most won GP game? It sure seems like it....
-Pick-A-Number for a car is just so blah.
-Hi "New" Punch-A-Bunch. I think the change has made the game a bit better. I'll miss the Second Chances, but at the same time I won't. Huh.

Two prize showcases seem cheap. That's the plan. Lure the contestants in thinking the showcase is cheap (unless a well known car brand shows up) and then surprise em. >_>

Just a question, maybe this sounds silly but has easy as 1-2-3 ever had a reveal like the one today where it was already known that the contestant lost before the 3rd price was ever shown? I don't recall ever seeing that, though granted I haven't watched a whole lot in a while.

I want to do a little bit of a flashback pertaining to the new Punchboard values... This was my pick for the new values back in Spring......

If the question is to set the board to potentially have bigger winners, then I could see tpirfan28's observation as working well. My version in this case would be

1-$25,000
3-$10,000
6-  $5,000
8  -$2,500
8  -$1,000
12-   $500
12-   $100

I wasn't too far off. And it did have a $2,500 winner, which in last season's terms would have been $500.  So the bigger winners result is acheived. It doesn't change the fact we have gone almost 5 years without a full win ($25k) But I have a feeling more 5k+ wins will happen this season, the odds are now 7/50 with one punch to win 5k or more

Nothing but love for the PunchABunch changes. The second chances never really added anything to the game except making it longer.

Never???    I can think of 2.

But I don't think we'll really miss them.    How often did they get hit anyway?   Just a few times a season.

I understand the concept of having an extra punch would increase the chance of someone getting a big win, I meant that having one extra punch didn't really add anything to the basic gameplay.

I've fiddled around a bit with this, and I think I've come up with the "definitive" distribution: Keep it the same as before; just up everything:
2-$25,000
3-$10,000
5-$5,000
10-$2,500
10-$1,000
10-$500
10-$100

Although the new one isn't half bad.

Is it just me, or are some of the new slips in a slightly different font?

Count me in the "Eazy was easy" group. There didn't seem to be a bunch of accessories, leading me in them.

Punch a Bunch ruins the perfect record the cash games had so far this season.  It took its 73rd consecutive loss (or partial win), going across now five seasons.

At least all of them haven't been lost.

I would imagine the $2,500 slips might have been -- after all, they're brand new.

I totally agree about the new punch board, but WHY take out the 2nd Chance?!?  After more than 30 years, they finally decided to take out the 2nd chance?!?
