Nice winnings in Plinko, and a touch of drama with the chip getting stuck and Caressa freeing it for $10K.

I didn't care at all for the jellybean Smart Car.

Victoria normally would have gotten complaining from me for listening to her friends on -95 and -90... except it was -90. Dang.

That chip did no such thing as continuing on its own - Caressa went down and pushed it while Drew was fishing for the Stick. Bob would know when it gets stuck in that very upper area to let the contestant do it, and it's too bad Drew didn't learn that today, but it was nice to have an extended appearance for the Stick.

I'll agree with Kitch on Race - that was really just not knowing the logic or what was going on. And keeping the upper range of prices on the fridge for some reason - this is NOT Elmira.

From what I've researched, Price supplied a completely custom image for the jelly bean SmartCar.

Exciting wins in "Any Number" and "Now...or Then"   "1 Right Price" could have gone either way.  As far as "Race Game," I didn't have much faith in Larissa as soon as she placed her first price tag on her first go at it...$4198 for that refrigerator?!!  And maybe it's just me, but I still think the camera is too close to the prizes during the initial reveal; the angle is too severe and looks awkward to me.

"That's Too Much!" was it's usual awful, difficult self.  Maryjo was a good contestant, and she came awfully close to winning.  "Plinko!" turned out very well considering Caressa only won two chips.  $21,000 is a nice payday, and the bit with Drew and the Plinko! stick was one of his better moments.

SC1:  It amazes me that there are people in this world who are able to come up with ways to make Smart cars exponentially uglier!  I suppose it's a talent.  Yuck!  (I know it's a wrap, but even if you remove it, it's still a hideous little thing.

SC2:  Nice, if you're into that sort of thing.

Another decent show to end the week. Although we waved goodbye to the easy car setups with That's Too Much - that one was really tough with the fake 2k jump. It was nice to see an exciting Any Number playing in the first half though.

It bothers me that the contestant touched her own Plinko chip and Drew (and Gwen) never even realized what was going on and thought the chip moved on its own. While in Plinko that's fine, it's a good example of how Drew needs to pay attention more during the game.

That Race Game playing also bothered me - oy vey. At least try to use logic when you're switching your prizes. I understand that she got flustered, but that was pretty bad.

The showcases were....interesting today. I think that jellybean car is a little bit too niche for me to want, and the script of the first showcase was just corny in a bad way. I liked George's read on the second one - I thought it was a great way to theme some unrelated prizes together.

Timings:
One Right Price (3.5) - 2:32
Any Number (5) - 4:28
Plinko (5.5) - 5:10
Race Game (5) - 4:42
That's Too Much (5) - 3:23
Now...or Then (5)- 4:24
Total (29): 24:39

Plinko was awesome!  Drew actually managed to come up with something funny and carry it through the segment, and we even got to see the Plinko stick!

This is easily the best job Drew has ever done hosting Race Game.  It was almost Barker-like.  Larissa, on the other hand, didn't play Race Game well at all.  Drew even seemed to realize that she was screwing herself on her third turn.

Of course, when you have a show as good as most of this one was, the damage Drew and Mike have done to the Showcase just stands out that much more.  #1 was absolutely ridiculous -- two prizes and the most absurd-looking car I've ever seen.  #2 was actually quite good, although the trip should have come before the roadster.

I thought Caressa dislodged the Plinko chip herself rather than it coming loose on its own.

As for the jelly bean car, I'm just glad that the contestants don't have to keep it the way it's presented.

That stupid-looking jelly bean car was beyond ridiculous. Easily one of the ugliest prizes I have ever seen. I hate that it came at the very end of the show and left a bad taste in my mouth, somewhat marring an otherwise acceptable job by Drew, who actually managed to be good in multiple segments today.

She did. Drew probably didn't know she knocked it off, though, because he was reaching around for the stick and just heard the chip start to plink again.

1 Right Price should've totally been won. At least if you were an LFAT.  ;)

Oh my god...they played Plinko third! Now if they would only play it second...

And Plinko was awesome. Drew managed it beautifully.

Cue fail in Race Game.

Toyota Camary + LE Model=$$$$. Which is why That's Too Much! was so high up today.

I couldn't make my mind on which was more exciting...Plinko third or Now....or Then sixth...you know, Plinko third did happen last year, so Now....or Then. :P

I couldn't believe they managed to find a prize more uglier than the designer stuff they fantasize over...

I think the jellybean design on the car is a removable wrap. You really don't have to drive around drawing attention to yourself if you don't want to.

That stupid-looking jelly bean car...left a bad taste in my mouth

Eat some jellybeans. That'll take away the bad taste.

ETA: I was wondering if Carissa reaching down to knock the chip loose would have disqualified that turn. Good thing for her it didn't.
