Why do you even bother with this? Is it any surprise that day after day you pick the person who wins the most as the best and the person who fails the most as the worst?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

You know, I should compliment Adam for having his most creative Pay The Rent lineup yet - it makes life better to see SP/cars with it, it's even more fun when they're 6th, and it's better yet when we get another decent game like Eazy as 123 thrown in. That being said, Pay The Rent has been broken since the day it was created, and Switcheroo is ridiculously broken now (another purpose low setup), and that's never going to lead to a good show. Today was probably going to top out at 2/6.

I'm unsure why Eazy as 123 has seemingly been lost 47 times in a row. Today was probably the easiest it's been in awhile, and it was still bungled.

Timings:
Pay The Rent (7) - 6:15
Money Game (4.5) - 3:44
Squeeze Play (3.5) - 3:01
Eazy as 123 (4) - 4:07
Double Prices (3) - 3:09
Switcheroo (5.5) - 5:01
Total (27.5): 26:17

At least Drew did mention this time around that Pay The Rent is "not necessarily from least expensive to most expensive". Now, he just needs to take out "necessarily".
This would be a S&P violation - he's explicitly giving help on the game.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Today show was awful & Drew did okay today.
A Big Rich Fields Drew Carey And Jeff Davis Fan For Ever From Kirsten

Rich Fields Thanks Kirsten. I pick out and supply all of my own clothing. That light gray suit is hard to pair with shirts and ties... but I think the lavender shirt and purple patterned tie pulled it all together.

My Favorite Announcers On The Price Is Right Are Johnny Olson Rod Roddy Rich Fields Jeff Davis.

I Met And Took Two Pictures With Jeff Davis On May 24, 2012 He Is So Nice And Kind In Person.

Rich Fields said this about Drew Carey will always be the first to defend Drew (Carey). He's one of the most genuine, down to earth people in Hollywood that I've ever met. He was the first to come to me and tell me that the show was going in a different direction. He assured me it was not his decision to let me go and I believe him. No one else was open and honest about it, but Drew was. We've continued working together on different projects and we stay in regular touch. We'll be good friends well into the future.

For the record, everybody, Kristina DID NOT put the cheapest item in the mailbox. The dog food was cheaper than the plates.

Kristin actually had the same Pay the Rent configuration that I had.  But once I saw that I overestimated the plates by a dollar and underestimated the potatoes by a dollar, I knew that my configuration was wrong.  Yet again.

Woohoo!  Another $26,000 winner!

Once again, none of the SPs in Switcheroo looked as if they were under $20, so I immediately put the 1 on the car.  I can understand why the average contestant would think that puny pouch would be only $12, but the fact that it was a designer-label pouch was a clue that it wasn't $12.  I don't necessarily expect an average contestant to use logic in this game, but I still hold out hope that one will.  Contestants are finally starting to figure out Ten Chances again, so you never know.

SC #1... shortest showcase ever?  Good Lord, even those one-prize, private-jet showcases lasted longer than today's first showcase!  That ain't right!

My showcase bids:
Quickie--$30,107
Spain--$25,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Except it could be. And then when it is, y'all will be screaming "TECHNICAL WIN! TECHNICAL WIN! MIKE RICHARDS IS AN IDIOT!"

And yet another contestant Drew Carey does not understand how Switcheroo works.

Pay the Rent isn't nearly as annoying when Drew gives away the deceitful part.  It at least seemed today like it might be winnable.

Seeing Switcheroo last was a hell of a surprise.

Did anybody catch Drew inadvertently saying "Big Wheel" during the second Showcase Showdown?

A freakin' jetpack?  Seriously?

When "Double Prices" is the highlight of the show... :-(

How quickly we forget the $26,000 win on the Big Wheel.

This is the first time that I've ever nailed the correct combination for PtR!  My hunch that the plates were not the cheapest item in the game was also right.  Too bad that didn't help Kristine any.

Money Game was its usual random self.  73, 62, 83, and 54 all looked like reasonable choices for the last two numbers (19 certainly didn't).

Squeeze Play was also a random guess, and it was the only game that I would have flat-out lost today.

What a great $26,000 win on the wheel to offset an otherwise lackluster first half!

I did a facepalm when Gaston put #3 on the Washer/Dryer.  I think just about everyone on this site knows by now that the MacBook Pro is big bucks.

Thank Heavens Martha won Double Prices!  That was an easy setup, incidentally.

I agree with Fireball in that there was no way that any of the four small prizes could have been under $20.  Marianito, on the other hand, appeared to have no idea what he was doing.

My Showcase Bids:
Caribbean/Jeep: $29,339 ($8,084)
Malaysia/Spain: $25,115 (OVER)

Pay the Rent - Tough setup as usual.  Can't see an end to this anytime soon.  I understand that they don't want a shot at $100,000 to be easy but being too difficult isn't going to help game popularity.

Money Game - No El Cheapo this time, but she partially sealed her fate with the pick of 19 after already finding the first pair, and by picking two number pairs that are seen on the board quite often (54, 78).

Squeeze Play - Typical loss for the game.  Not easy but not too difficult either.

Eazy as 1 2 3 - Umm, no.  Non-LFaTs would probably be split between the washer/dryer and Mac package.  And if they did choose the Mac for highest-price, it would probably be more linked to underpricing the appliances than thinking the computer is expensive.

Double Prices - Easy win.

Switcheroo - Painful.  It was setup for a win (none of those SPs looked like they were less than $20, therefore leaving the 1 for the car) but Marianito, like most Switcheroo players, are too caught up with the SPs and not the car.  I wouldn't blame the clock on this either; in earlier playings, players usually take only 20 seconds to set the numbers, and the results are just as dismal, even with the excess time left.

You're right, but that's still not enough, IMO, to save an entire show, no?
