Solid show today. I thought Neil really tried to price things (34/30 in Half, tried nice ending again in A# but got Mike'd), maybe even more than Snoop. From his comment in Gas, I do wonder how much of that Grocery wipeout was his fault. Easy setups in Half & Gas were appreciated in addition to the quickies.

It's really too bad Mike can't set up / afford shows like these much more often, because I think we'd be a lot less unhappy with Price if he favored this type of product consistently over over designer crap and occasional big payouts in sexed up games that force 2/6 or below to be the norm.

It was hard for me to tell how honest Destiny was in her excitement when getting up (tackling Neil like that was about the last thing I was expecting despite nearly ramming Drew over too), but she was an interesting character for sure.

I wouldn't consider A# a Mike-ing. If you followed the typical (not always, but typical) rule of avoiding 0 and 5, you would've won.

Alright, I guess that was too harsh. It was a fair but "you're going to have to earn it" setup, and Neil's strategy was not going to work, I assume he was going for -75 after 0 was in the bank.

1/2 Off: As easy as it will get these days.

AN: I'm not necessarily blaming NPH for this loss; Darrin should've known better to have picked very high numbers after the cents part of the piggy bank was filled out.

SBS: Pretty easy.

Grocery: 16 soups? That's Too Much!

S?: Wasn't as easy as SBS, but still won.

GM: I definitely think Sammantha's friends & NPH made this win happen, because Sammantha made three dumb bids the whole show.

Showcases: Is it just me, or has the Showcase results been close all week long so far?

Second-best show of the week so far, IMHO.

What a nice show.... Neil, for the most part, seemed very calmed and subdued. It was nice.

Half Off was nice. Always glad to see this game won.

Pardon me, TWO Gas Money wins....in a row! Someone catch me, I just might faint. (I know it is not in taping order, but still in airing order is nice.)

Grocery Game was just fail. I mean you weren't playing Bullseye...it's okay to take it slow, dear. I love how Drew revealed the price of just the olives and nothing else. Like the olives were something everyone was talking about. lol

Tough luck in Any Number.

Just an all around nice show.

Well, if Neil was responsible for the Grocery gaff (did he think the soup was $1.29?), at least besides that and Any Number, everything went well.

It helped that we had some easy setups. 1/2 Off was about as easy as all get out: three easy SP sets and the money box was lucky 7. About as close to a forced win as you can get in that game.

Gas Money was also on the easier side. $21K seemed about right for the car, it was the only price ending in 0, and all the other prices had odd repeating digits that probably did not look right. Of course, on any other day, one of those would be right, but this is charity week and all.

That said, 1/2 Off and Gas Money in the same show again? At least they weren't back-to-back, and I know this one was taped before others with that combo, but does Adam think these two go together or something? (Because, well, they don't.)

All in all, a good show.

That might have been the easiest Gas Money setup of all-time.
They can be close at the top, too.

Half: If Bob was there, he'd be calling Neil a player. All credit to him for getting the bonus, though the 7 was pretty obvious.

Nice arrangement on SCSD 1, and we did eventually get the payoff (a dollar) in 2.

Grocery: Destiny was a little high on both taking Drew AND NPH down, plus on her pick. 12 would've been just fine and given her a clean win at $20.28.

Gas Money: 2 in a row, and I got to see it this time! Shame those'll be the two wins for the season.

Showcases: Does 2 count as a 2-prizer considering that's all they had to bid on?

Overall: Not quite Legen(waitforit)DARY, but still a good effort. And more importantly, Neil made more than Ms. McCarthy for a charity that is worth it.

1/2 Off:  Awesome win!
Any Number:  Bummer! :-(
Side By Side, Switch?:  Nice job! ;-)
Grocery Game:  Doh! :-(  If Destiny had only gone with 12 soups instead of 16, she would've had it (12 x $1.69 = $20.28).
Gas Money:  Awesome to see someone from my hometown of Sunbury, PA. win $10,000 and a car (I know she's from Sunbury because there was an article in my local newspaper about Samantha being on the show today.)!

Great show overall, IMHO. :-)

So basically we could've had a perfect show if every game was won? Hmm, I didn't think of it that way...

Me either.

Gas money on a winning streak?  8-O That might be a first in the game.

Great show today. Destiny was awesome. Too bad her "Destiny" was to wipeout on the Grocery Game.
