IUFB Question
« on: May 21, 2006, 11:35:14 PM »
I don't know if it's been discussed or mentioned elsewhere before, but I was wondering if the platform that usually lowers from the ceiling that displays jewellery and binoculars; is it the same platform with the disco ball that was used in the original Plinko reveal?

Here's a question or two that goes along with that..

1.  How long has that platform been around?  It doesn't seem like earlier than the early 80's.

2.  If it has been around since the early 80's, could that platform have been developed exclusively for Plinko but then found other uses afterwards?

Or vice versa, although I highly doubt it.

Thanks for the information. :-)

The first time I ever recall seeing the drop-down turntable was the premiere of Plinko, so I'm leaning more toward that it was built for the lead-up to Plinko, and they have since found another use for it.

I could be wrong, I just know that what I'm thinking since I personally hadn't seen it before that.
