TEMPTATION WINNER! Not even really much else to say - I'm just glad we got there. Once the 17k/19k hurdle was jumped, the rest was pretty easy, so I'm glad Drew finally knows what a Temptation win feels like. :)

And really, the rest of the show was pretty great too! A nice haul in Plinko with reasonable chip setups - this felt like a Dob episode for a lot of it. That's Too Much was as hard as I've ever seen it, so I'm glad we didn't have a semi-perfect (w/ Plinko) show headed into that one. It's just funny though to see Mike intentionally play Temptation and Gas Money more often to get more car losses in and get burned on them. What a great two-day start to the week this has been.

Timings:
Temptation (6) - 6:17
Push Over (4) - 2:54
Plinko (5.5) - 5:49
Now...or Then (5) - 5:18
One Right Price (3.5) - 2:50
That's Too Much (5) - 3:41
Total (29): 26:51

Holy [Italian flag] [Australian flag]!  Somebody finally won Temptation!  Of course, Mike made the price ridiculously easy today.  After the $19,xxx, the rest of the numbers were pretty obvious.  There wasn't gonna be two 1s or two 9s, and ending the price in a 6 would be way beyond evil, even for Mike.

Cool!  A contestant gives a shout-out to Stan Blits!

Why was the jug of Clorox in Now or Then facing the wrong way?

Ian was clearly not a LFAT; otherwise, he would've known that there would not be more than two THEN products.

My showcase bids:
Car--$24,107
Trips--$20,107

Talk about a double $1K fail... when was the last time that both showcase contestants overbid by less than $1,000?
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

TEMPTATION WIN!!!!!!

Okay, now that that's out of the way...this was a pretty good show even without the breaking of the longest non-Plinko losing streak in Price Is Right history.  There were a number of wins, some good gameplay, and even sporadic good hosting by Drew; in particular, he did Plinko, Now....and Then, and That's Too Much! a lot better than he usually does.

It looked to me like the Now....and Then contestant was the only person in the studio who didn't know his last guess was wrong.

First of all, hurray for a Temptation win!  Second, am I the only one who was surprised the numbers didn't flash for a win?  I mean, if it can be done in Any Number and Contestants Row, why not in Temptation?

Part of me wants to call shenanigans on NoT.  Obviously we all know the 2/4 split - but when an item is clearly marked "NEW" as the kettle corn was (since it was in those new bowl-shaped bags), I can understand getting it wrong.  I probably would have said NOW for the popcorn for that very reason.  How can a product that wasn't around in 2002 have a "guesstimated" then price??  Just asking...

Jolly Time's website said Healthy POp Kettle Corn WAS introduced in 2002. The packaging must be new.

Or it's packaging from 2002.  Heaven knows they've done that before (although this is something they probably ought to be more careful about in the future).

It was clearly new, since it was the new "Insta-Bowl" bag that has become popular with popcorn purveyors in the past year or so.  Either way, they should be more careful, agreed.

I guess they have five years now to fix it :P
