When you post this episode's recap, Kitch, the ARP of the Sonic was $16,660 & the Colorado was $19,894.

False. The MSRP of the Sonic was $16,630 and the Colorado $20,634 (Paint/Fabric Prot. Is $699)

Did anyone else notice the description of the Sonic said "This Sporty Sedan features a 1.8L engine and automatic transmission!" even though the Sonic on stage was a Hatchback and the pricing reflects the Hatchback model? (The Sedan is not over $16,000 base)

"Our dilemma is that we hate change and love it at the same time; what we really want is for things to remain the same but get better." - Sydney J. Harris

“For the premiere of season 30, CBS wanted to do a special primetime show. However, they asked that we also add a gimmick or a twist to make it truly special. I came up with the suggestion of taking the show on the road for the first time in its history." - Roger Dobkowitz

Drew actually did a very decent job of hosting Triple Play...right up until it was lost, at which point he immediately regressed to, "Youwon<insertnameofItemupforBids>let'sgetanothercontestantuphererightaway."  Given how well he'd been doing up until then, it was an extremely jarring change.

Incidentally, if this show had been aired tomorrow like it was supposed to be, I have a feeling the first revived FPG would have been an auto-Dob.  (Yes, I realize we're not doing that right now...but screw it. :))

Crystal appeared to be a loyal friend and true.  She seemed like someone Bob could have had a lot of fun with.

"Glamping?"  Seriously?

Speaking of that...

Quote
This showcase contains prizes revealed as our girls take a camping trip.  And after a long night at the campfire, Manuela is ready to turn in.  So she says goodnight and crawls into her new sleeping bag!

*Insert sleeping bag plug*

And now Amber's getting tired, as well, so she bids Rachel goodnight and heads into her pop-up tent!

*Insert tent plug; dissolve to Rachel on her cell phone*

Now, Rachel doesn't much like sleeping outside, so after a quick check-in with Gwendolyn, she heads into the group's...brand new trailer!

*Insert trailer plug*

And where is Gwendolyn during all of this?  Well, she's not into the whole camping thing, so she ditched the other girls and spent the weekend by herself seeing the sights...in Chicago!

*Insert trip plug*

And this showcase, in which some of our girls went camping, can be yours if the price is right!

Honestly, if they aren't going to use the correct cue in Make Your Move, PLEASE pick something better than that terrible loop.

Amen brother. Same goes for Race Game.

That was an insanely difficult setup for the final car in Triple Play.

It was fun seeing Triple Play go to the final car... up until I saw that final setup. That was just evil.

Like Check-Out. That was the GP game equivalent of Mike's Lowball Special.

Nice to get in another Line 'em Up win. Make Your Move was also a cool win by an LFaT.

I am just curious how those of you that commented on the difficulty of Check-Out thought it was evil? I actually would've won with being about $1.02 under, and I'm usually not that great at pricing games, evil set up or not.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

Pretty much all the items were less expensive than they looked.  My total was actually a dollar and a half higher than the contestant's.

I think it was because those of us that are good at the pricing games and keep track of these sorts of things know that $11 and change is a very cheap setup.

In fact, the Drew era has never had a cheaper total.
