The first half was a mixed bag.  Temptation was its usual crapshoot, Push Over was easy, Shopping Spree was lost on an easy setup, and the displays during One-Bid #3 went kooky.

Wow, it feels like forever since we last had a car game 4th.

Seriously?  Christopher thought that a MINI Cooper cost over $26,000?

Holy crap!  1/2 Off 6th for the first time ever!

My showcase bids:
ATVs--$22,507

My tape ran out before the second showcase started, so I have nothing to show for that.  But seeing the previous comments that it was a special-guest showcase, it was probably a good thing that I didn't see it.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Push Over:  Nice win to keep the skunk out! :-)
That's Too Much:  I wish they'd retire this game, but if they absolutely have to have it in the line up, then they should make it so any price over the actual price wins instead of the first price over the actual price, IMO.

Horrible show overall, IMHO.

BURN FLIP FLOP

BURN IT
I'd rather burn That's Too Much.  I hate That's Too Much!

Comments on Showcases only:

1-To those who called it 'el cheapo'-you weren't too far off the mark. Drop the cameras and the cheaper 3-night trip and make the other a 6-night and we have yet another 'trip of a lifetime'. About South African Airlines-do coach passengers get wine, too? :->

2-I could almost see it from the second the guest was named:"The following is a paid commercial announcement for Chef Michael". I wasn't too far from wrong-the stove HE endorses, HIS cookware and cookbooks, a trip to the hotel where HIS 'ristorante' is, and a trip to Tuscany. Please-endorsement SCs need to be ID'd as such.

1/2 Off SIXTH!  Major props to Adam for doing something very Roger-on-Friday-ish!

And speaking of Roger-calibre stuff, CAR FOURTH! :)

I wish they would play Temptation someplace other than first.

I wonder why they've been putting those extra backdrops in Shopping Spree lately.  They look really out of place.

I have no idea who Michael Chiarello is, but he sounded extremely phony.

I can't believe I forgot about this before, but the bit about the honeymoon in the teardrop trailer in Flip Flop was one of the most genuinely funny things I've seen Drew do.

Recap is up.

I can't believe I forgot about this before, but the bit about the honeymoon in the teardrop trailer in Flip Flop was one of the most genuinely funny things I've seen Drew do.

Hey, if the trailer's a-rockin', don't come a-knockin'! ;)
