It was nice to see Stack the Deck both set up and played reasonably well.  It's a shame about that last digit, but at least she was wise enough to not go -5.

Punch-a-Bunch was just bad luck.

In fact, all six of the contestants in the pricing games were adequate.
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

Not much today, and Drew was in full boring mode. BUT, Swap did get an actual win - can't believe it went 10 playings and nearly 13 months with all losses...
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Money Game:  Nice to see this game again!  Too bad the front & back trick got Saudia.
Punch A Bunch:  More than William came with.
Pick A Number, Swap Meet:  Nice wins! :-)
Stack The Deck:  Maximum bummer!
Push Over:  Rats! :-(

Pretty good start to the week, IMHO.

Pretty meager show. Drew switched back to boring mode.

Swap was the highlight of the day, getting a win for the first time in a long time.

I bet Mike was furious at the end of Pick-A-Number, what with the player wanting Amber to go with him to Spain and all...
The above is my opinion and mine alone.

Drew was the most unwatchably hyper today that he's been in a long time. Although it cooled down a little bit in the second half of the show, Drew clearly must have taken something before the show - not a fan of when he does this. Between that and Stack The Deck making yet another appearance, there's really not much of a reason to tune into this one. It was very weird to see a $500 bail in Punch A Bunch on the new configuration though.

Timings:
Money Game (4.5) - 4:22
Punch A Bunch (5.5) - 4:56
Pick A Number (3.5) - 4:12
Swap Meet (4.5) - 4:16
Stack The Deck (5.5) - 5:16
Push Over (4) - 3:06
Total (27): 25:08

Today was a good show despite nothing to be setup for wins except money game and we had 2 wins anyway. But Drew seemed bored today but he didn't feel that bad either.

Punch-a-Bunch was just bad luck.

Just curious, when is a Punch-a-Bunch loss not a result of bad luck?

Not really too much to about, except that Swap Meet and Pick-A-Number was won.................Then again, Money Game was back........even though it was a bit of set-up. Tough break on Stack The Deck, too, so cars were won, which is what Mike obviously wanted.

Perhaps when a contestant doesn't earn any punches. Like the one contestant who thought a mop was over $29; if they make rather odd choices on the SPs and don't earn any, I'd call it more bad playing then bad luck.

Very nice to see a Swap Meet win and the return of Money Game.

Perhaps when a contestant doesn't earn any punches.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this happened in 1982. There was a clip of it somewhere on the internet, but I can no longer find it.

"I hate coming to work some days"... after hearing Drew say that during the first One-Bid, I think that National Enquirer piece that some people on this forum have been doubting may actually have merit.

And then we get a [French flag] 420 bid after that.  The first of many chadhole moves by Bryce.  I have no idea how he got out of CR or won Pick-a-Number.

After a month, Money Game is back.  Seriously, 0 as the middle number in Money Game?  Anybody remember the last time that happened?

And seriously, a $500 bailout in Punch-a-Bunch?  Anybody remember the last time that happened?  I'm pretty sure that three consecutive $500 slips has never happened before.

Swap Meet was much harder than normal.  Any of the three prizes could have been the same price as the random jewelry.

Wow, Drew actually did something in Stack the Deck instead of the models.

Mike tried to force another wipeout in Stack, but Shannon wasn't fooled by a couple of those products.  Not surprisingly, she was fooled by the Gold Bond lotion.

My showcase bids:
:frbs: --$27,107
Car--$27,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

This is the first time I've notice (in how many playing since the new dollar amounts?), that Punch a Bunch doesn't have Second Chance cards any more...

What was Drew on today? I had to turn this show off after Pick-a-Number because of how "out there" Drew was acting. I know I've said it a million times, and I'll say it again: when Drew actually puts effort into hosting the show, he does a good job. Today was not one of those days.

With that being said...

"I hate coming to work some days"... after hearing Drew say that during the first One-Bid, I think that National Enquirer piece that some people on this forum have been doubting may actually have merit.

Fair is fair, and I think it's fair to say that Drew was just being sarcastic. After that, though, I will 100% agree that everything went downhill when it didn't need to. I'm surprised at how long I gave this show a chance before turning it off. That has to be a new personal record.

Money Game: I also thought the second pair of numbers was 72, but 64 was the only other pair that looked right for the back half of the car. I could've won in three tries.

Punch-a-Bunch: just bad luck. Not really much you can say.

Pick-a-Number: Yes, Drew, college students party. There's no need to go on for two or three minutes and try to make that funny. It's not going to work. Pick-a-Number honestly could've went either way. If you've watched the show in the past and know about Mike's love for expensive trips, PaN probably would have been a gimme.
