I will check back with that guy periodically and hopefully I can use him as a resource.  I don't know why people complain about the internet down under but I appreciate the people there who are thankful for what they have.  They seem so happy there.  I don't understand why they have strict rules in regards to talking about things online but maybe I can go to my local Aussie pub and meet some people in person.  It seems that the internet is the least of their worries there and they would love to meet me.  I know they have nothing to worry about here.  Unfortunately, the closest thing I can do aside from watching Aussie TV on Youtube is to visit there.  The people in my local Aussie pub might know about Larry Emdur and The Price is Right, who knows?

Brodie, the announcer said that the rice cooker prize on Cliffhangers was a Kambrook, when in fact the item was a Sunbeam and 3 winners tonight- but nobody has won the showcase still.

try living outside one of the 6 or 7 cities in australia. it's ok in the city, but in the "sticks" (the country) it is awful

thankfully something is currently being done about it, but it's still a few years away. fibre to the home for the win!! :)

also, thank you for the social commentary on australia :)

there will a showcase won this week according to the ads running on tv, i'll post it on youtube when it happens

^The show is cheap and the set sucks. We already knew this. As for Seven and Fremantle refusing to pay because the episodes had not yet aired...is that not standard policy?

The Davidson version also had episodes where nothing was won, but there was a difference: if you lost there, you lost big; in this current Aussie version, if you lose, you lose...eh.

Surprised they did not use the "That's it?" comment from that one Plinko playing.

I would have thought Fremantle would have stopped trying to plug an online store after the American Temptation bombed four years ago, but I forgot that Fremantle never learns from its mistakes.

The more I hear and see about this new series, the less faith I have in it having any sort of longevity. And I fear for the already-minuscule budget given that there will be a Showcase winner.

The above is my opinion and mine alone.

To answer your questions: yes, I am a guy and yes, I have a face. (I also have the occasional spurt of weirdness.)

Total HYO Winnings (so far): $317,249+!

Total CSS Winnings (so far): $57,361 and 737.82 points!

Thank you, but there is a law in the whole country that you cannot talk about a certain thing online.  It isn't a law here, but for the purpose of not stirring up controversy here, I would rather not talk about it.  Sorry, I would never want to live in Australia.  It would be a nice place to visit though!

Here's an interesting video on Aussie Price.

http://video.au.msn.com/watch/video/the-price-is-right-scandal/xaih5tk?cpkey=2be34441-c3f7-4414-8c6c-89bbb6782a9d%7C%7C%7C%7C

It's a half-hour show.  They only had time to put it on before Deal or No Deal.  I'm not sure what you expect

Mike Richards being less of a f***ing idiot than whoever is running the Australian show does not magically make Mike Richards not be a f***ing idiot.

Huh?

I will check with the guy who uploaded that episode to see if he uploads more in the future.  If he doesn't, I won't bother him because I'm not on Youtube anymore
