This shouldn't be a poll.

There are other teams with a shot:

Pittsburgh (7-7)
Tennessee (7-7)
Buffalo (7-7)
Minnesota (6-8)
St. Louis (6-8)
Green Bay (6-8)

AFC- Based on remaining schedules, the Broncos and Jets will likely be in, but I won't count out the Bengals and Jaguars at all.

NFC- I'll say both wild cards will be from the East: Eagles and Giants.

Well, Green Bay is right out, since they still play Da Bears.  :-P

AFC:  I dunno, but I'll say the Bengals and Jaguars.  They're the ones who deserve it, at least.

NFC:  Well, the Eagles are close to a lock at this point, but the other slot...I dunno...I bet 8-8'll make it...might as well pick a name out of a hat...well, Minnesota it is.

Jags may make it but i don't think they deserve to they got sweeped by the texans and lost some other games they should win. Bengals lost games they shoulda won too without that bad stretch we wouldn't be worried about what other teams do. As of now we need a win sunday and a bills loss and a jets loss i think i heard to clinch a playoff spot.

We don't even deserve to be included in this discussion. In the AFC, Cincinnati and Jacksonville will get in, although you never know what to expect from the Jaguars. NFC, I'll say Philadelphia and the Giants.

what a horrible way to lose a game botched snap on the extra point.  Miami tried but ended up losing now we need to beat Steelers and hope somehow the Jets lose to the Raiders, or a denver loss and the winner of jags and chiefs game would also be 9-7 i think we'd win a 3 or more team tiebreaker.

Much as I hate to say, but the Falcons may as well not even show up in Philly next week...then again, they really didn't the last 2 games.  Atlantans are fed up with the coaching and apparent "lack of heart" on the team.  The play calling has been ridiculous of late--for instance, 4th & 1, why would you try a 10-yard pass (and of course, it was incomplete)?  Somebody, explain that to me!

Arthur Blank said winding up less than 8-8 would be "unacceptable," and you just know he has several pinkslips in his desk drawer ready to be handed out. :-?

Frankly none of the remaining teams going for that last NFC wild card look all that deserving of it.  In the meantime, those that have made it should be on alert, for we now have a Philadelphia team rising that might--just might--have what it takes to go very far (no doubt the media now feels stupid for having ridiculously overhyped Tony Romo, who put up his big numbers against mostly ineffective defenses in the first place and so far folds like a cheap tent when it really counts).

I'd be most happy with a Chargers-Saints Super Bowl; I think they're the most deserving franchises still alive.  We all know how much good the latter case would be as New Orleans gets back on its feet.

I think the Wild Card teams will have to be able to kick extra points. Who ever does that the best will make it.

Or try to at least take their hands off each others' throats for a little while.  Even as entertaining as the games themselves have been watching disgruntled teams yell away at each other and take their coaches out with them; Keyshawn Johnson screaming his lungs out at reporters to shut up and let him talk after he let Lito Sheppard take the ball off him to seal the deal on Monday Night (doing so with no contact whatsoever despite Johnson's vehement assertions) was the most amusing thing to watch this season, if only because he's had it coming for years.

I think the Packers have a fair chance of making it. It is if they beat the Bears. I watch many Packer games and they look like they can stay with the big teams if they are clicking on all 4 cylinders!
