                           Price Post-Gazette
                            A WIN IS A WIN
                          Cover Up. Now 1-21.

Well...I said something a few days ago...
I was hoping that [Pick-A-Pair] would go perfect and Cover Up would go winless just so we could have the stark contrast. Now let's hope Cover Up picks up its first win when it is played this week.
So there you have it. Any week Pick-A-Pair is won, Cover Up will be lost, and vice versa.

Mike dodged a bullet. Dice Game would've been his evilest moment ever since That's Two Eighth, if Charles hadn't grossly overpriced that Mazda. 25K+ cars are extremely rare outside of the restored cars placed in fee games.

This has been an absolutely delightful week for a low win week.

There it is, not sure why the html was bleeding through my post. Should not happen on the next recap though, I think I see the problem.

Wins like we seen in Cover Up are what I live for when it comes to watching TPiR. Very exciting and the fact that for about 3 seconds there neither the contestant nor Drew really noticed that all she had left was the 1 made it so much better. Once Drew noticed it was a auto-win he handled it very well - having her put the 1 in place instead of just thinking "she won anyway, why bother with the 1".

As for Dice Game, I'm kind of torn on what people are saying about it. It's one of those games where everything really depends on the results of the dice. If he had rolled all 2s, he'd have probably said higher for all of them...if he'd rolled all 5s, he's have probably said lower for all of them (which would've resulted in a win). The setup today was kinda moot anyway because as soon as he said it was higher than a 4 it was game over.

Cover Up was awesome not only because it was won, but because of how it was won.  I honestly don't think I've seen that happen even three times.

Ditto on that comment, and it's weird that I was thinking to myself just before this happened:  "If she gets that last digit right and the 3rd digit wrong, she's got it", and then it happened!  Of course, I usually think ahead and hope that will happen most of the times I see this game played, but, alas, it it rare.

I've seen this happen at least a half dozen times that I can distinctly recall, at least once for each of the first 4 digits (obviously, you cannot acheive this feat with the last digit).  This includes that one contestant just a few seasons back who missed the 1st digit and had the last 4 right on the first try, as well as another guy in the Spring of 1998 who was actually deliberately employing the "Cover Up strategy" and achieved this with the 2nd digit.
