Did they show where the secret X was after that wipeout, or did they just say "Oh, screw it, who cares?"

It's In The Bag could be redone to use a $187(.50)-$375-$750-$1,500 payout structure, but I doubt the show wants to exert actual effort and issue Big W vouchers in an amount whose last two digits are not -00 or -50. Despite being more suspenseful, it would also mean having to (:-o) pay out more.

No they didn't show where the secret X was.

Larry stills calls it 'In The Bag'.   I doubt a bailout structure would work at all with a top prize of just $1500.   I don't think any contestant would bail out with just $750, a bit like how it's rare for bailouts to occur on Grand Game.
