Coming or Going (W)
Let 'em Roll (W)
Take Two (W)
Side By Side (L)
One Away (W)

Dang it GSBoy, 30 more seconds and I would've had it.   :-x

Let 'em Roll was a real Mikestopper today.  I don't know what made Alexander decide the Splenda was lower than the dressing, unless he's watched enough to realize the correct choice for the last item lately has usually been the one you'd logically think is wrong.

1/2 Off: Not that well played; I would've nailed the SP part.

CoG: I was skeptical about Kyeshia's $6,547 guess, because that wasn't too big of an increase over the $4,034 trip to Sonoma Valley on the second one-bid.

LER: Thank goodness Alexander got all three rolls today!

TT: A nice touch that Drew revealed all the ARPs after the win in this playing.

SBS: Where was that $8,099 Ski-Doo when Tenise needed it?

OA: Good for Jason that he correctly disagreed w/ the majority of the Peanut Gallery on changing the 6!

Showcases: But any chances of having Jason's Ford Fiesta replacing the party boat behind Door #3 went up in smoke when he bid $31K on the Showcase that included the Jeep Compass. Nice that Kyeshia knew the party boat Showcase was at least $30K.

Very nice show today.

Today's show was better that we had 4 wins. Nice playings of Coming or Going, Let Em Roll, Take 2, and One Away.

Wow, this was actually another great one! This has been a pretty decent last week aside from Monday's farce. Drew is really in a good hosting stretch right now, although I do have one from the "Joe Plinkos do notice" file for today: when my friend who doesn't watch the show often saw Take Two, which he's probably never seen before, his reaction to the second chance was like "a Drew mulligan? what?" :) Still, between that and much more lax setups than normal today, this was a good-feeling show. I'm surprised that LER is usually always set up for 2 rolls and then magically set up for more when the restored car that they can't afford rolls around.

The highlight of this show though was finally seeing a One Away win! Mike set his usual "the Fiesta is more expensive than you think it is" trap, and with 4 right on the first try, Jason was set up perfectly to fall into it. But somehow he knew that the 2nd number was the one he needed to change, and we broke a long losing streak in that game as a result. During that time, we've had about 4 other One Aways lost because of badly changing the 2nd number, so it was good to see one go the other way for a change.

This was another stellar lineup on the heels of yesterday. I've noticed usually when 1/2 and LER show up together, we get a short lineup so it was great to see both Take Two and One Away to accompany them - usually it'd be something like Money Game and 3 quickies, but they made it work today. OA 6th is always nice as well.

Timings:
1/2 Off (5.5) - 4:50
Coming Or Going (3.5) - 3:18
Let 'em Roll (5.5) - 5:37
Take Two (4.5) - 4:23
Side By Side (3.5) - 3:00
One Away (5) - 5:10
Total (27.5): 26:18

I like both games, but there's no way Coming or Going and Side By Side should ever be in the same lineup.
So this is the "get off of my lawn" stage of my life.  I'm not impressed.

Frances botched Half Off -- if a single-digit price is present in this game, it should be picked.

From start to finish, Let 'Em Roll truly felt like Price.

Drew did a very Davidson-esque reaction in Take Two -- acting like the game was lost, only for the second chance to be revealed. Not sure if that is a good thing...

I would say the lack of actually mentioning a hotel name caused Side By Side to be lost.
The above is my opinion and mine alone.

To answer your questions: yes, I am a guy and yes, I have a face. (I also have the occasional spurt of weirdness.)

Wow, this might have been the best-produced show this month in terms of setups. Half and Roll were completely set up correctly (the retro car might have been a factor on the latter, which is meh, but still), the lineup was pretty solid (would have liked maybe Side - OA - T2, but OK, and the conflict of quickies doesn't bother me too much), and Side was the only super hard setup.

I can see why Half's bungles could be considered feasible - a $20 baker of anything is cheap, and we've seen $35 and $50 irons on the show. And then she actually had the right idea on the extreme, except it was the other extreme. I think Mike was still going for the loss with it being #2 and not all SPs being drop-dead easy (so 4 boxes?), but this is exactly how to go about it.

I think Drew was trying to be a bit funny in T2, but I nearly exploded thinking he screwed up and Scott would intervene. It's OK in Hole for a bit, but I dunno about here.

I don't think any lack of hotel made Lisbon expensive, it was that it was a king room. What was funny though is that, as I'm sure some remember, 8099 in Side has been a snowmobile at least twice this season, so it's like they hand-picked a 9980 trip for a loss this time to reuse the 99/80 prop.

Mike seems to have made the Fiesta his own - taking packages of options on & off to alternate between 16k and 18k - and built this OA setup around it. But this time, 4 right actually ended up really helping pin down what he could change, and no -1 ending helped as well. The nuts can shut up on that one, for at least one game. :)
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I never liked the show when it starts off with Half-Off. Boy the small prize portion was blown.

Coming or Going was an easy win.

Great win in Let Them Roll.

Finally someone wins Take Two.

I just knew Side By Side was going to be lost despite the obvious setup.

Micheal blew an easy chance to get on stage.  All he had to do was block Jason's dumb bidding move.

I'm glad KYESHA won her showcase.  Very few people deserve to win 2 cars in one day.

Nice wins on Coming Or Going, Let Em Roll, Take Two, and One Away! :-)

How the heck was Jason's showcase only $25,755!? ???

Great show overall, IMHO.

I would say it's not a good thing. It made it seem like today was a special day, or the contestant was special in some way to be given a second chance, as opposed to a second chance being part of the usual rules.

Man, I would have lost the Fiesta in One Away. I didn't think it would be an eighteen thousand-dollar car. I guess I didn't listen well enough to its description.

And, I HAVE to say this: In my opinion, Tenise coming up on stage presents a solid argument against contestants wearing microphones. That was brutal.

Thought today's was a pretty good episode. To me, Drew created a lot of suspenseful moments in Let 'Em Roll and One Away - those both really had me on the edge of my seat, and that doesn't happen all to often with the show nowadays, and is a good thing in my mind.

And glad that Take Two and One Away were won today. One Away, for one, has not been won many times this season, as we've already seen.

And I definitely think that some of Tenise's screaming should have been toned down, and not to have put a microphone on her. That was VERY annoying with her screaming and screaming every second while making her way on stage. I mean, I know you're excited to get on stage on a national game show, but don't make a fool of yourself.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

Could the description of the passport cover in Half Off have been any simpler and more boring?  George just said "passport cover".  No description of its use, color, size, features, etc.  That really bugged me.  I don't care how mundane a product is.  I still want a decent description of it.

Take Two gets another win this season.  And I'm sure that vader is happy that Drew revealed all of the prices this time.

I don't often make predictions on this website outside of FPG and CSS, but I will make one here.  I will predict that Steve Gavazzi will say (or at least think) that Drew is in no position whatsoever to say that the mighty sound effects lady is "full of herself".

One Away was a little tricky, but Jason refrained from listening to "them" and changed the right number to give this game a much-needed win.

Two car games won today, and we didn't even need an all-car-game lineup gimmick to do it.

My showcase bids:
:frbs: --$30,107
Jeep--$25,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".
