^Very unlikely. It was Richards' idiotic demands and such that caused DiPirro's departure, and Mike does not come across as the kind of guy who would compromise.

The above is my opinion and mine alone.

To answer your questions: yes, I am a guy and yes, I have a face. (I also have the occasional spurt of weirdness.)

Wow... I guess we shouldn't be that surprised.

This is pure speculation, but interesting timing on this announcement from the show upstairs...

Rich DiPirro coming back?  :P

Has Hell frozen over yet?

Stan Blits joined the show as a production assistant in January 1979.

Retirement? :P

Has Hell frozen over yet?
Judging by the pictures from Michigan, I would say no.  However, come December, a blizzard is not out of the question.

She was.  Karen is no longer with the show.

Of the current production staff, Stan Blits and Gina Nyman have been there the longest, beginning in either 1974 or 1975.

The staff, which for years had a force with extreme longevity, is no longer primarily filled with people who have been there for many years.  For some reason, there seems to be a larger turnover rate.  Look for another new Director in the upcoming Season.

Woah, What Happened to Karen John? Did she retire?

Brian McAloon possibly as the new director? I was thinking either Gary Chamberlain or Marco Marconi.

DiPirro is directing "Figure It Out" these days... Witten's working there, too, as a stage manager.

Watch Adam Sandler move to the director's chair, eventually.

Bart was never a musical director. He was a P.A. who cued the music and kept logs of the music used. A real musical director has formal training as a musician and can perform, compose and arrange. Think Paul Shaffer. The same applies to Stan.

If the show has musical directors they are Bob Israel and Edd Kalehoff.

sorry he was credited as "music supervisor",

I do think Adam will become director... He has had alot of expierience over the years he has been with Price is Right. Being the only one around that was a stage manager during barker and careys era, (and tracey eskander), adam knows the staging, the timing, and has worked hand and hand with the cameramen and previous directors (Paul A., Bart E., Rich D. and now Mike D.), he knows a thing or so. He was on stage for Paul, Bart, & Rich's tenure, and moved into the booth during Mike's tenure as director, he knows both the stage and the booth well. He has been in the booth with the current tech director, Glenn Koch

Question will who will be "associate directors'' if he is moved into the directoral seat. will they have just 1 associate or 2 associates, during marc breslow, paul alters, and the majority of bart eskander's tenure, they only had 1 associate. they have 2 associates since the end of eskanders tenure, rich d.'s tenure, and mike d's tenure.

Another question will be: Will Adam Be Credited as Producer/Director? Price has never had this............ Alot of Goodson/Todman shows had producer/directors (I.E. Paul Alter Director/Producer Tattletales).

And will Adam get paid for a dual role?
