2. Cover up W

4. Race game W
5. Flip Flop L

C-H: Very good playing & Connie was popular w/ the audience!

CU: After Danielle's second turn, I was worried she would change her mind & go w/ the nine on the third digit as suggested by the Peanut Gallery, but she shafted them & won the car!

Range: Thankfully, the Sea-Doo wasn't $10,534 like I thought it was going to be.

Race Game: Excellent job by Erin!

Flip-Flop: I think Mike wanted this won, but it wasn't to be.

StD: This went about the way it was supposed to for the most part, though I was surprised the last number was 9 & Gary didn't even get that right.

Showcases: Connie sure made the audience's day!

Great Thursday episode.

If I told anyone here Gas, Path, Roo, Cover, AND Stack would be played so well as to be one mistake from a win or actually be won, all in the same week, would anyone have put some $$$ on the line on that bet? :P

Finally, someone did need to stare a lowest digit in the face and get it. Did not think that would happen this season and why 0-30 seemed very real (now 3-26).

Additionally, nice playings in Range and Race (someone knew to change 3 on 1 right? What the). Too bad on Cliff that $4 was added too early or that was a perfecto.

Why are brands like Elmira underpriced as Mike wants but generic prices are overpriced?? Frustrating.

Terrible, budget-driven lineup today. Hate Cliff (1 week again? How about Cover-Range-Shell??) 1st, only there since it was easiest on day but it's been paired with Cover in 1-2 now 3 times in 2012. Where is Danger - which can and has been set up hard?

Today show was great 4 wins out of 2 & Drew did a great job today as host.
A Big Rich Fields Drew Carey And Jeff Davis Fan For Ever From Kirsten

Rich Fields Thanks Kirsten. I pick out and supply all of my own clothing. That light gray suit is hard to pair with shirts and ties... but I think the lavender shirt and purple patterned tie pulled it all together.

My Favorite Announcers On The Price Is Right Are Johnny Olson Rod Roddy Rich Fields Jeff Davis.

I Met And Took Two Pictures With Jeff Davis On May 24, 2012 He Is So Nice And Kind In Person.

Rich Fields said this about Drew Carey will always be the first to defend Drew (Carey). He's one of the most genuine, down to earth people in Hollywood that I've ever met. He was the first to come to me and tell me that the show was going in a different direction. He assured me it was not his decision to let me go and I believe him. No one else was open and honest about it, but Drew was. We've continued working together on different projects and we stay in regular touch. We'll be good friends well into the future.

Wow, apart from Tuesday's disaster, yet another week that's better than it has any right to be. This was just like Monday's show - two very hard car games, and we get one win, and one loss that comes way closer to being won than the game ordinarily is. It's nice to see people are finally beginning to figure out low digits in Cover, and as for Stack, I'm still not sure how he played that well. Those groceries were nasty today and even though he got 2 of them, he still had to deal with a tossup for the 2nd digit of the price. It's amazing he got that close, even if it's a bit of a heartbreaking loss. Though it would have been even more heartbreaking if Flip Flop were won. :)

That wasn't the easiest Race Game setup in the world either, but even though we had the world's most nervous contestant, that was a TEXTBOOK example of how to play it. I could not play it any better myself (I'd have the same reasoning, but I'd be much slower :) )

A little disappointed to see Cliff show up today instead of Shell getting one last playing. Ah well. And is Drew routinely doing things like playing with waffles at tapings, and it just usually gets edited out?

I swear we've had a car offered every single day for the past month in the showcase. There is really no need ever to do that (and it becomes comical when they try slightly harder every day to have it lost). Pretty sure in the Roger era there was at least one day every week without a car in either showcase, and quite frequently there were weeks with two or three such days. Save budget money, especially at the end of the season. We can hope they'll learn eventually..

Timings:
Cliff Hangers (4.5) - 4:30
Cover Up (5) - 5:08
Range Game (4) - 3:46
Race Game (5) - 4:19
Flip Flop (3.5) - 2:51
Stack The Deck (5.5) - 5:37
Total (27.5): 26:11

I don't believe it.  Somebody actually voluntarily picked 1 for the third digit in Cover Up.  Danielle didn't even consider placing the 9 there.  She immediately went for the 1.  I think contestants may finally be figuring out this damn game.

And we also got a contestant who knows how to play Race Game properly, too!  Not many contestants go from 1 right to 4 right after one change, but Erin knew exactly what to do.

Well, the show was going so well... and then Stack the Deck shows up.  Gary actually played the game well.  He just got tripped up by the expensive mouthwash and cheap skin cream.  Had he gotten by that, I'm sure he would've taken the last number and kept this game from having only one win in Season 40.

I'm not sure if dressing like the characters of Mad Men is something that somebody should be bragging about.  I know it's only a TV show, but looking like TV characters who sit around the office drinking, smoking, patronizing women, and degrading minorities could send the wrong message.

My showcase bids:
VW--$29,107 (blown :dsw: )
:frbs: --$29,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Another good show today...............

THE BAD NEWS:

Flip Flop: Nicholas should've never listened to the peanut gallery.........

Stack The Deck: Poor Gary...........He had a bad case of bad luck from coming so close in winning the game (Somehow, I knew that last number he picked was wrong........Damn number 9.) to going over on his showcase.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Cliffhangers: Connie was entertaining to watch and played the game pretty well, even getting the waffle maker right on the nose. Also, nice showcase win!

Cover Up: When Danielle was down to the last number, I was chanting, "1! 1! 1!" And she picked it and won!

Range Game: I really like Bradley's energy when he won. He almost missed the mark, but he still got the Sea-Doo!

Race Game: I think Erin was a little freaked out when she had to play, but she did get all 4 prizes right on the second try!

All-in-all, another great show........

Another good show. I don't mind seeing Cliff Hangers again; it's been played relatively little this season if you ask me. Though I would love for Shell Game to show up tomorrow... Anyways, played well.

Cover Up: Someone picks the 1 and doesn't need to be forced to do so! Take that, peanut gallery!

Range Game: Low setup (only $184 above the bottom), but he still got it in there!

Race Game: Very well played! She made all the right changes on the second try. Note that, at the end of the segment, she was saying something like, "These (shoes) don't look anything like..." and I'm guessing the rest of the sentence was "...$2,380." So maybe it was just a bit of luck. It all worked out for her, though!

Stack the Deck: Well, good thing Flip-Flop wasn't won, because there was no way this was getting us the perfect show... is what I'd normally say, but Gary sure came close! Just one reasonable choice on a 3-way toss-up gone awry... (Where was he during the One Away setups earlier this season?  :P ) Getting 3-4-5 would have made the game much easier, but that middle pair was definitely brutal, and the other two sets weren't easy, either. Ah well.

Having four games won in a row was great...but honestly, the highlight of the show for me was hearing the theme for The Dating Show in the first showcase.  Major props to Stan for digging that up! :)

Recap Finally Up, Sorry!
